About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager/Writer to join our Global Proposals Team as a key contributor supporting the development of proposals, questionnaires, and business development materials. The ideal candidate blends strong business writing with disciplined project management, has working knowledge of (or a strong appetite to learn) cloud security, and can quickly grasp the complexity of our market, our platform, and our customers' needs.

This role operates in a high-volume, high-velocity request environment. Our team receives a steady and often unpredictable stream of concurrent RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, security questionnaires, and ad hoc content requests from Sales and partner teams across all regions. Success in this role requires the ability to triage and prioritize competing inbound requests, set realistic expectations with stakeholders, escalate capacity constraints early, and consistently deliver quality work at pace without sacrificing accuracy or compliance.

This is a remote position that can be based anywhere on the East Coast of the US.

What You'll Do:

• Manage end-to-end RFI, RFQ, RFP, DDQ, and security questionnaire activity — from intake and qualification through final submission — to ensure on-time, compliant delivery

• Own a high-volume workload of concurrent proposal assignments and related tasks, applying sound triage and prioritization judgment in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Drive the proposal process end to end: build and enforce the schedule, hold contributors to milestones, and coordinate stakeholder and compliance reviews to provide final quality assurance against department, corporate, and legal requirements

• Review and analyze customer requirements; develop compliance matrices, response outlines, and schedules of events

• Participate in kickoff calls and win strategy discussions to clarify scope, understand the opportunity, and translate key messages and differentiators into clear win themes

• Coordinate contributions from cross-functional SMEs (Sales, Sales Engineering, Product, Strategy, Legal, Information Security, and others) to produce high-quality, compliant, and persuasive responses that position CrowdStrike to win

• Build customer-facing response templates and manage workflow through draft, review, and approval stages

• Prepare final deliverables for submission: format, proofread, and edit for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and readability

• Enable Sales and cross-functional teams on proposal best practices, intake processes, and policies

• Maintain and continuously improve the proposal content library, ensuring content is current, accurate, consistent, and reusable — reducing turnaround time on repeat and high-frequency requests

• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and content reuse initiatives that increase team throughput and scalability

• Assist in other departmental projects as needed

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years managing complex proposals, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of simultaneous requests with overlapping or competing deadlines, and to make sound prioritization decisions with limited direction

• Proven critical thinking, sound judgment, and effective decision-making under pressure

• Superior project and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate SMEs at all levels — including senior leadership — to deliver complex responses on time

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content into clear, customer-focused narrative

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace, Salesforce, and proposal management platforms (e.g., Responsive/RFPIO, Loopio)

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with expert formatting, editing, and proofreading skills

• Ability to comprehend and cohesively orchestrate complex business, technical, and legal requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and collaborate across a broad population of internal and external stakeholders

• Team player who works effectively both collaboratively and independently

• Willingness and flexibility to work across time zones and geographies as needed to meet customer deadlines

• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $86,000 - $135,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
