About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Manager (Paid Acquisition & Growth) to join the Growth team of a fast-growing international consumer AI technology company. This is a highly hands-on role focused on managing and scaling significant paid acquisition budgets across mainstream consumer advertising platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Google, Instagram and Reddit.
You will take direct ownership of campaign execution, creative testing, budget allocation and performance optimisation, with a strong focus on customer acquisition cost (CAC), cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), customer lifetime value (LTV) and payback periods.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of personally managing $300,000 or more in monthly advertising spend, delivering measurable commercial improvements and scaling consumer acquisition across multiple markets. This is an execution-focused position requiring direct involvement in advertising platforms, rather than a purely strategic or agency-management role. You will be expected to demonstrate your individual contributions to campaign performance, including the decisions you made, the changes you implemented and the results you achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Personally launch, manage and optimise paid acquisition campaigns across mainstream consumer advertising platforms.
Take direct ownership of significant monthly media budgets, including campaign-level allocation and optimisation.
Develop and execute performance marketing strategies focused on scalable B2C customer acquisition.
Monitor and optimise CAC, CPA, ROAS, LTV, payback periods and other commercial performance indicators.
Lead creative testing initiatives, independently deciding which concepts, audiences and campaigns to test, scale or discontinue.
Execute high-volume creative testing programmes to identify profitable acquisition opportunities.
Scale successful campaigns across multiple advertising platforms, geographic markets and customer segments.
Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and commercial returns.
Optimise web conversion funnels and subscription journeys to improve customer acquisition and monetisation.
Evaluate subscription funnel performance, cohort economics and customer lifetime value to guide marketing decisions.
Allocate advertising budgets across channels based on performance data, commercial priorities and growth opportunities.
Identify and resolve campaign delivery challenges, advertising account restrictions and platform-related issues when relevant.
Use attribution and analytics platforms to measure acquisition performance and campaign effectiveness.
Collaborate with the wider Growth team on creative strategies, performance improvements and international expansion.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging acquisition opportunities.
Maintain clear accountability for personally managed advertising spend, campaign decisions and measurable results.
Requirements
Extensive hands-on professional experience in performance marketing, paid acquisition or media buying.
Proven experience personally launching, managing and optimising paid advertising campaigns.
Demonstrated direct control of at least $300,000 in monthly advertising spend.
Ability to clearly distinguish personally managed budgets from total company, agency or client portfolio expenditure.
Strong track record of delivering measurable commercial improvements in CAC, CPA, ROAS, LTV or payback performance.
Proven experience in B2C customer acquisition, preferably within consumer subscription applications, mobile gaming, dating, social discovery, DTC or comparable consumer businesses.
Direct ownership of creative testing strategies and decisions, including which creatives and campaigns to test, scale or discontinue.
Strong understanding of performance marketing economics, acquisition efficiency and commercial profitability.
Experience analysing campaign data and implementing measurable performance improvements.
Ability to demonstrate specific personal contributions to campaign optimisation, budget allocation and growth.
Strong analytical thinking, commercial judgment and a results-oriented mindset.
Experience scaling campaigns across consumer acquisition platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage substantial advertising budgets and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international remote environment.
Willingness to work under a B2B contractor agreement.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience personally managing $1 million or more in monthly advertising spend.
Hands-on experience across multiple mainstream advertising platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Google, Instagram or Reddit.
Proven success scaling acquisition campaigns across international markets.
Experience managing high-volume creative testing programmes.
Strong understanding of subscription funnels, cohort analysis, LTV and customer payback economics.
Experience optimising web funnels and subscription conversion journeys.
Experience with attribution and analytics platforms such as GA4, AppsFlyer, Adjust or Voluum.
Experience handling advertising restrictions, account bans or acquisition challenges involving sensitive consumer products.
