About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager / Head of Marketing Operations to lead and execute high-impact initiatives across Technical SEO, content, organic growth, digital marketing, and marketing operations.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who can combine strategic marketing thinking with strong execution. You’ll be responsible for driving organic growth, managing marketing systems and workflows, overseeing website and SEO initiatives, coordinating campaigns, and using AI to improve marketing speed and scalability.

This is not a role for someone who only delegates. The ideal candidate is comfortable developing strategy and personally driving execution in a fast-moving environment.

If you’re deeply experienced in SEO, technically comfortable with modern websites, and AI-first in how you approach marketing, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Own

Marketing Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels
• Drive organic growth through SEO, content, and digital marketing
• Identify new opportunities to increase traffic, visibility, engagement, and revenue
• Coordinate ongoing marketing campaigns and priorities
• Support revenue-focused marketing initiatives
• Track performance and adjust strategies based on results

Technical SEO & Organic Growth

• Lead Technical SEO strategy and execution
• Conduct technical, on-page, and content SEO audits
• Identify and resolve issues affecting crawling, indexing, site architecture, and organic performance
• Develop and execute backlink and authority-building strategies
• Conduct keyword, competitor, and search opportunity research
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and SEO performance
• Stay current with evolving SEO, AIO, and AI-driven search strategies
• Translate SEO insights into clear execution priorities

Website Management & Optimization

• Manage website projects using ASTRO, headless WordPress, or similar CMS technologies
• Coordinate website updates, landing pages, and optimization initiatives
• Work closely with developers and designers on implementation
• Maintain strong site performance, usability, and SEO fundamentals
• Identify opportunities to improve website conversion and organic visibility
• Ensure website projects remain aligned with broader marketing objectives

Content & Social Media

• Create and oversee consistent social content across Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter)
• Manage production of blogs, articles, promotional materials, and other marketing content
• Support PR and outreach initiatives
• Develop content around SEO opportunities and broader marketing objectives
• Collaborate with designers and developers on creative execution
• Maintain consistent messaging, branding, and positioning across channels

Marketing Operations & Systems

• Build and maintain efficient marketing workflows and operational processes
• Coordinate marketing projects across internal teams and external partners
• Maintain visibility into deadlines, ownership, and deliverables
• Manage reporting systems and performance tracking
• Support quarterly reporting and shareholder updates
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements
• Ensure campaigns and marketing projects move from planning to execution efficiently

AI & Marketing Automation

• Use AI tools to accelerate content production, SEO research, analysis, and marketing execution
• Build and improve AI-assisted marketing workflows
• Identify repetitive tasks that can be automated or streamlined
• Experiment with emerging AI tools and practical marketing applications
• Use AI to improve research, ideation, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Help establish an AI-first approach across the marketing function

Analytics & Performance Reporting

• Monitor marketing, SEO, website, and campaign performance
• Analyze trends and identify growth opportunities
• Maintain clear reporting for leadership
• Support quarterly performance analysis and business updates
• Translate marketing data into actionable recommendations
• Ensure marketing activity remains connected to business and revenue outcomes

Crisis & Brand Management

• Support crisis-response marketing initiatives when required
• Coordinate time-sensitive communications across appropriate channels
• Maintain professionalism and responsiveness during high-priority situations
• Ensure brand messaging remains accurate and consistent during critical events

Requirements

Must-Have

• Proven experience in a senior marketing, growth, SEO, or marketing operations role
• Strong hands-on expertise in Technical SEO and organic growth
• Experience conducting SEO audits and implementing optimization strategies
• Experience with backlink analysis and SEO tools
• Experience managing websites using ASTRO, WordPress, headless CMS, or similar technologies
• Experience with Google Ads
• Strong understanding of AI tools and their application to marketing workflows
• Experience managing cross-functional marketing projects
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to independently develop and execute marketing initiatives
• Comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Active involvement in the SEO or digital marketing community
• Experience with HubSpot, Slack, Asana, or similar platforms
• Experience in luxury, hospitality, lifestyle, or travel-related industries
