We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, driving performance, and championing the student experience across a designated portfolio of university partners.
This is a senior leadership role for acommercially minded, customer-focused marketer who knows how to turn insights into action, bring people together around a clear strategy, and drive measurable business outcomes.
The Opportunity
As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll lead an agile marketing squad and work closely with cross-functional teams and university partners to develop and deliver customer-centric go-to-market strategies.
You’ll:
Lead the development and optimisation of integrated go-to-market strategies, using customer, competitor, market and performance insights to shape propositions and campaigns.
Own portfolio marketing performance, using data and commercial insights to identify opportunities, improve funnel performance and maximise ROI.
Build strong relationships with university partners and internal stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and driving alignment around shared goals.
Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing professionals, while setting clear strategic direction and priorities for the marketing squad.
Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring marketing activity is effectively delivered, measured and continuously optimised.
Champion the student experience by staying close to the customer journey and using insights to create more meaningful connections.
Bring a test-and-learn mindset to the team, identifying opportunities to innovate, experiment and scale what works.
Manage marketing investment and budgets, making informed commercial trade-offs across the portfolio.
Apply strong knowledge of digital channels including paid search, SEO, website/CRO and emerging discovery channels.
About You
You’re an experienced marketer who combines strategic thinking with commercial acumen and a genuine customer-first mindset.
You’ll have:
7+ years’ marketing experience across integrated marketing, digital performance marketing and/or 1:1 marketing.
Proven experience leading, coaching and motivating high-performing marketing teams.
Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, including experience influencing cross-functional teams and external partners.
Experience managing marketing budgets and making ROI-based investment decisions.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
Working knowledge of paid search, SEO and website/CRO.
A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.
Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and data visualisation tools.
Most importantly, you’ll enjoy bringing people together, challenging the status quo, and finding better ways to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and the business.
