About this role
On behalf of our client — a fast-growing international B2B technology company that helps large retailers and logistics operators optimise their supply chain — we are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to open and grow their presence in the UK retail market.
This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, high-growth commercial team at an early stage in a new market, working directly with senior leadership and taking full ownership of the UK sales strategy from day one.
What you'll do
Own and execute the UK go-to-market strategy, from prospecting to closing.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK retail sector.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, negotiation, contracing and closing.
Build long-term relationships with key retail accounts and partners.
Negotiate directly with senior decision-makers (COO, Head of Logistics/Supply Chain, and other C-level stakeholders).
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings across the UK.
Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to adapt offering and messaging to the UK market.
Report on pipeline health, performance and market trends to senior leadership.
What we're looking for
5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in the UK retail sector.
Proven experience negotiating and closing deals at C-level / senior decision-maker level.
An existing network within UK retail is a strong plus.
Comfortable working in a "hunter" role, building a market from scratch.
Familiarity with SaaS / software-based solutions is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with CRM and sales data.
Based in the UK, with willingness to travel across the country to meet clients and attend industry events.
