Sales Executive
About this role
About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Executive to grow subscriptions to our eLearning platform across UK and international food manufacturers. You will drive sign-up to the eLearning
by calling our list of existing clients, to ensure more users at each manufacturer are trained, certified and renewing year after year.
Our food technical training courses have been established with UK retailers for 25 years, over this time Ashbury has become a trusted technical service provider to the food industry. The food manufacturers are all suppliers to major UK retailers and come to Ashbury for their training needs to satisfy the retailers technical and legal requirements. Your job is to show each manufacturer the value of training their entire team, and to encourage eLearning sign-up through clear confident communication.
Key responsibilities
- Sell e-learning subscriptions to new and existing manufacturers, managing the full cycle from first contact to signed agreement.
- Target manufacturers
where training is not mandated, building the case for voluntary uptake.
- Follow up retailer-mandated sign-ups quickly, converting single-user accounts into multi-user or company-wide subscriptions.
- Run discovery calls and online demos tailored to the client’s size, category and goals.
- Work with customer success on onboarding, usage and renewals, and spot upsell opportunities.
- Keep the CRM accurate: pipeline, activity, forecasts and account notes.
- Hit monthly and quarterly targets for new revenue, seats sold and account growth.
- Represent the business at trade shows, retailer supplier conferences and webinars.
- Feed back supplier insight to product and content teams on what training suppliers want next.
Experience:
Essential
- 2+ years in B2B sales, ideally selling subscriptions, SaaS or services
- Proven record of hitting targets; confident on the phone and video
- Interest in learning how retail and supply chains work
- Comfortable with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft 365
