Requirements

Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

1+ years’ experience in automation, VBA, Python, AI, or similar technologies applied to business processes
Strong understanding of data management, UI development, and backend coding
Continuous learner passionate about adopting cutting-edge automation tools and techniques

Work Experience

Clarify the minimum years of total work experience and other relevant work experience required to be able to perform the job.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automation, preferred VBA, RPA, AI, OCR, JavaScript, power automate or similar technology-driven process improvement
Experience managing large data sets and deploying real-time solutions
Automation projects in a business process environment
Experience reviewing and optimizing processes to design hands-free, accurate automation solutions
Exposure to working in environments without direct integration to customer systems

Skills and Knowledge

Include any specialized skills or knowledge needed to do the job.

Proficient with automation platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar
Strong understanding of data management systems, UI design, and complex backend coding
Ability to recommend and implement latest automation tools and AI-driven technologies (OCR, data extraction)
Knowledge of scripting languages such as VBA, Python or JavaScript for automation tasks
Familiarity with cloud data stores and multi-country hosting considerations
Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and a self-driven mindset for independent work
Basic experience in cloud / Microsoft Azure is an advantage

Job Responsibilities

Explain the principal responsibilities that the job must achieve. Each responsibility statement should explain what is being done, why it must be done and the targeted key results to achieve it. For example, develop and recommend (WHAT IS DONE) sales and revenue budgets in order to meet the planned growth (WHY) by understanding the external environment and internal business direction (HOW).

Account Payable Automation:

Build prototypes, small-scale applications, and scripts to automate Excel spreadsheets and streamline PP processes including reporting
Develop, enhance, and maintain MS Office applications, handling both frontend and backend development using Microsoft technologies
Design, configure, and implement enhancements, production fixes, and new systems with proper configuration management
Follow development best practices and patterns to deliver high-quality automation solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and guides for end users
Define system scope and objectives tailored to individual user needs in the PP domain
Analyze, troubleshoot, and revise existing system logic to ensure smooth performance and accuracy
Maintain, support, and upgrade existing MS Excel and MS Access VBA applications, translating business requirements into effective solutions
Perform object-oriented analysis, design, and rigorous testing to ensure optimal functionality and performance
