Growth Designer (Social Ads & ASO) - TikTok Specialist

Quadro Consulting was founded in 2014 in Bonn, Germany. We have been successfully delivering IT solutions to long-term clients across various industries, including Dating, Gaming, Payments & Finance, Printing & Marketing, Education, and many more.

For one of our clients, we’re looking for a highly creative, data-driven Growth Designer (Social Ads & ASO) to join their Design team and work closely with User Acquisition and Marketing.

You’ll create and optimize high-performing paid social creatives across video, static, and carousel formats, with a strong focus on TikTok. You’ll also own the visual optimization of the Apple App Store and Google Play presence, using A/B testing and performance insights to improve ASO and conversion. We’re looking for a versatile designer who combines strong visual storytelling with a performance mindset and knows how to turn data into creative that converts.

Engagement: Part-time B2B engagement, billed on an hourly basis.

What you’ll be working on

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Bridge Design & Growth: Serve as the primary creative liaison between the Design team and the UA/Marketing teams, ensuring all growth assets maintain a high design standard while hitting aggressive performance targets.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Meet weekly with UA managers to review performance metrics (CTR, IPM, CPI, ROAS) across all social channels. Translate quantitative data and user feedback into actionable creative briefs and the next iteration of designs.

Social Ads Design & Production (Video & Static):

• Full-Funnel Ad Creation: Design, edit, and animate high-converting native video ads (9:16), as well as highly engaging swipeable Image Carousel Ads and static image formats for TikTok and other paid social platforms.
• TikTok Specialization: Act as the internal expert on TikTok trends, sounds, effects, and visual styles. Translate these insights into rapid-turnaround ad creatives that feel native to the platform.
• Content Sourcing: Source high-quality stock footage and b-roll to produce scalable, engaging creative assets without the need for live-action production.
• Format Optimization: Understand the technical nuances and safe zones for various social formats (e.g., keeping critical text inside the 1080x1920 safe areas).
• Creative Testing: Develop variations of hooks, calls-to-action (CTAs), text overlays, and pacing for videos, as well as layout/copy variations for carousels, to fuel a rigorous cross-platform A/B testing pipeline.

App Store Optimization (ASO) & Storefront Design:

• Asset Creation: Design and continuously refresh compelling screenshot galleries and feature/promo videos for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Conversion Optimization: Design visual assets that clearly communicate core app features and value propositions to drive higher page view-to-install conversion rates.
• Native Testing: Support the Marketing team in executing visual A/B tests natively within Apple Product Page Optimization (PPO) and Google Play Console, supplying the creative variations needed to win.
• Localization: Adapt visual storefront assets for different global markets and languages, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: 3+ years in digital design, motion graphics, or performance marketing, with a portfolio showcasing both video ads and high-converting static/carousel designs for paid social platforms, plus mobile app store assets.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert in both motion/video editing and static design.
• Platform Expertise (TikTok First): Deep, intuitive understanding of the TikTok ecosystem and its creative best practices and other major social ad platforms.
• AI Comfort: Familiarity with or willingness to learn generative AI tools for image and video creation is highly preferred.
• ASO Knowledge: Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play design guidelines, safe zones, and the technical requirements for app previews and screenshots.
• Analytical Mindset: You don't just make things look good; you care about how they perform. You are comfortable looking at marketing dashboards with the UA team to guide your design decisions.
• Agility & Communication: Strong ability to communicate design rationale to marketing stakeholders, manage multiple rapid-turnaround projects, and pivot quickly based on ad performance.
