The Digital Marketing Manager will work across both businesses, adapting marketing activity to two distinct commercial objectives:

• Generating qualified enquiries and student enrolments.
• Increasing ecommerce sales, customer engagement and brand awareness for the client.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

A premier Australian vocational training provider and an internationally recognized professional cosmetics brand are seeking an experienced, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager. In this dual-focused, highly autonomous role, you will drive full-funnel digital strategy, performance marketing, and conversion optimization across two distinct commercial models: student enrolment generation for creative arts courses and high-volume ecommerce acquisition for professional artists and consumers. By pairing data-driven advertising and AI-enhanced SEO with agile content creation, you will execute end-to-end campaigns that deliver measurable revenue growth across both brand portfolios during Australian business hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conversion Rate Optimization & Landing Pages: Design, build, test, and refine high-converting landing pages across WordPress and Magento to drive qualified course inquiries, student enrolments, and ecommerce sales.
• Paid Performance Marketing: Build, manage, and optimize multi-channel ad campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, PMax) and Meta Ads Suite (Facebook & Instagram), expanding into TikTok or LinkedIn where relevant.
• AI Search Optimization (AEO) & Local SEO: Execute AI-driven search strategies, conducting intent-based keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata planning, and Google Business Profile management for local campus visibility.
• Multichannel Content Creation & Short-Form Video: Produce, edit, and repurpose written, visual, and short-form video assets tailored to prospective students, professional makeup artists, and beauty consumers across digital platforms.
• Website Management & E-Commerce Merchandising: Maintain, update, and optimize site content, internal links, and user journeys across WordPress (educational portal) and Magento (ecommerce store).
• Lifecycle Email Marketing & Automation: Design, segment, and deploy conversion-driven email campaigns, building automated sequences for lead nurturing, enrollment onboarding, abandoned cart recovery, and customer retention.
• AI-Enabled Workflow Integration: Implement modern generative AI tools and repeatable workflows to accelerate content production, SEO research, copywriting, and ad testing while ensuring strict brand alignment and accuracy.
• Commercial Analytics & Attribution Reporting: Set up and maintain accurate tracking tags across GA4 and Google Tag Manager, delivering clear performance reports focused on ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and revenue.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical, hands-on digital marketing experience across paid search, paid social, SEO, and website management.
• AI Workflow Mastery: Demonstrated ability to leverage generative AI tools to systematically improve campaign speed, SEO output, and content volume without sacrificing brand quality.
• CMS & Tech Stack: Hands-on operational experience managing content and user journeys on both WordPress and Magento platforms.
• Performance Advertising: Proven track record managing budget-allocated ad spend in Google Ads Manager and Meta Business Suite with strict target Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) and ROAS goals.
• Content & Video Production: Strong practical capability in graphic design and short-form video editing using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Operational Setup: Reliable high-speed remote environment and full availability to work during Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT).

DESIRED (NOT REQUIRED):

• Prior experience in lead generation for vocational education, Registered Training Organizations (RTOs), or tertiary institutions.
• Direct experience within the beauty, cosmetics, or professional creative arts industries.
• Industry certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), or Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate.
• Technical SEO knowledge, including schema markup, structured data implementation, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Portfolio showcasing live high-converting landing pages, paid ad creatives, edited short-form videos, email sequences, and AI-driven workflows.
