Overview
Who We Are Seeking
We are seeking adaptable, high-reliability Freelance Software Engineers to join a large-scale platform development effort for a large tech client. This is a platform and infrastructure heavy role. We need developers who thrive on highly technical problem solving within large-scale, enterprise-grade ecosystems.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Build, maintain, and optimize pipelines to migrate 8,000+ developer documentation pages into the new system architecture
- Recreate and optimize front-end UI components using Angular to correctly parse and display complex technical documentation
- Work within client’s robust internal infrastructure to set up and manage continuous development and DevOps pipeline flows
- Quickly ramp up on proprietary internal tools, workflows, and strict access protocols
- Partner directly with design/digital teams to unblock development tasks as design assets are finalized
- Strong, hands-on experience building structured, maintainable web applications using standard Angular
- Practical experience working with Java backend services or platform logic
- Background in setting up build pipelines, CI/CD, content ingestion, or data migration workflows
- Comfortable navigating complex, proprietary internal ecosystems and developer documentation platforms
Required Skills
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- 8-10 years of strong, hands-on experience building structured, maintainable web applications using standard Angular
- Background in setting up build pipelines, CI/CD, content ingestion, or data migration workflows.
- Comfortable navigating complex, proprietary internal ecosystems and developer documentation platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with direct client interaction and technical project leadership
- Unphased by non-public, proprietary tech stacks; able to quickly digest internal tooling
- Independent worker with a strong work ethic capable of operating under aggressive project timelines and client scrutiny
- Comfortable delivering solid, utility-focused systems rather than creative/aesthetic digital campaigns
Nice-to-Have
- Practical experience working with Java backend services or platform logic

Compensation
Compensation
The hourly rate for this role is $60.00-$100.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
