We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Marketing and Strategy to lead marketing and demand generation strategy and oversee the strategy and growth development process at T2. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, driving brand growth, enhancing customer engagement, and developing and deploying strategic initiatives. As the Head of Marketing and Strategy, you will be responsible for overseeing all marketing operations, including digital marketing, content creation, market research, and product marketing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives and growth goals. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for identifying, exploring, and building new growth engines for T2 Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
• Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities and challenges for the business.
• Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine and improve strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
• Ensure brand consistency and compliance with brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communications.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
• Work closely with T2 Systems leadership to formulate long-term strategic plans, and prioritize plans and initiatives on the most critical value-added activities
• Create organic and inorganic growth strategies tied to emerging industry trends, competitive dynamics, voice-of-the customer needs, and internal improvement initiatives
• Scout acquisition targets to develop a robust acquisition pipeline in support of T2 System’s growth objectives
• Lead due diligence efforts required to validate the potential deal thesis
• Lead specific growth initiatives designed to explore new markets and growth areas in quick and agile sprints, that will significantly contribute to T2 System’s long-term growth ambitions
• Act as a trusted advisor to T2 System’s leadership during strategy formulation, development, and execution
• Work cross-functionally across external and internal stakeholders, partnering with T2 System’s leadership team, and various product, finance, sales, and other teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, STEM or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving business growth through designing, developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
• Demonstrated success in developing and leading demand generation and generating qualified lead and opportunities that contributed to overall sales growth
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
• Experience in developing content management processes and account-based marketing strategies
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with confidence and presence to engage effectively with senior executives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
• The ideal candidate has worked on a majority of growth strategy projects with a broad mix of initiatives including but not limited to blue sky growth strategies, go-to-market, commercial due diligence, etc.
• The ideal candidate should have extensive experience identifying, framing, and structuring strategic opportunities and developing strong, well-supported recommendations.
• The ideal candidate will work or have worked in or have project experience in software, SaaS, or tech, but diversity of work is welcomed.
