Lead and direct the Sales team's overall work. Establish sales strategies and growth objectives. Oversee and ensure the sales team and internal partners work with current and prospective customers to meet or exceed sales objectives. Responsible for growing the brand.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the strategic sales plan to include specific strategies for product channels and customers; identify and execute growth strategies to new channels and geographies.
• Establish and deliver sales goals to include margin and expense budgets; monitor performance against goals and adjust as appropriate.
• Develop and execute business development plans to drive distribution, merchandising, promotion and pricing; ensure alignment with established goals.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing sales team; foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration which supports the Company’s values and beliefs.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve sales team processes and procedures, including business planning and pricing; ensure sales team compliance.
• Conduct sales and performance analysis and provide detailed reports to senior management as appropriate.
• Attend and actively participate in trade and customer events.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and understanding of best-in-class sales practices.
• Oversee the Sales team's activities. Provide leadership, coaching, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the established policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems. Work with Human Resources to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Eight (8) years of progressive sales experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of sales strategies in the consumer products industry.
• Proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC) to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of business development practices and strategies.
• Knowledge of business acumen and the ability to effectively articulate.
• Knowledge of financial management and budget planning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to be innovative with solutions.
• Analytical skills and the ability to breakdown and understand complex data.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external key contacts.
• Leadership skills and the ability to highly motivate and successfully lead the work of others.
• Ability to successfully maintain poise and confidence in difficult situations.
• Ability to present professional presentations.
• Ability to develop and manage against long-term and short-term goals.
• Ability to travel both domestic and international as appropriate.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
