About the Role
This is a highly hands-on individual-contributor role. You will personally build, launch, optimise and report on campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, optimise landing pages, manage CRM and automation workflows, and troubleshoot the full lead journey from acquisition through to Sales. This is not primarily an agency-management or people-management role.
Responsibilities
Full ownership of the day-to-day strategy, execution and optimisation of Shift’s B2B paid acquisition across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, including campaign builds, targeting, bidding, creative testing, conversion tracking and budget allocation, with accountability for qualified pipeline and revenue.
Build and improve full-funnel performance across ad → landing page → form → CRM → email → sales, including ownership of landing-page optimisation and conversion-rate optimisation.
Manage and refine automation systems using Zapier and CRM workflows (Zoho; experience with HubSpot/Salesforce is transferable).
Maintain marketing and attribution reporting that measures lead quality, sales progression, pipeline and revenue—not solely clicks, impressions, click-through rates or cost per lead.
Improve lead scoring, audience segmentation, retargeting, and nurturing flows.
Collaborate with the Content & Social Media Marketer to ensure assets support conversion goals.
Partner with Sales to ensure clean CRM hygiene, lead labeling, and better downstream lead progression.
Contribute to quarterly marketing planning and new campaign ideation.
Apply AI tools creatively for research, segmentation, analysis, and efficiency.
Identify and test additional demand-generation channels, including industry newsletter sponsorships, podcast opportunities, Reddit Ads, X Ads and other relevant paid or partnership-led placements.
Requirements
Recent, hands-on experience personally managing and scaling both Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads for B2B audiences.
Demonstrated experience owning acquisition beyond lead generation, with accountability for SQLs, opportunities, qualified pipeline and/or closed revenue.
Able to discuss concrete campaign results, including media spend, lead/customer acquisition economics, pipeline generated and revenue impact.
Strong understanding of the complete B2B funnel: ad → landing page → form → CRM → lead scoring/nurture → Sales handoff → opportunity → revenue.
Hands-on experience building and optimising landing pages and running CRO tests.
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Zoho, HubSpot or Salesforce, including workflows, lead routing, segmentation, scoring and nurture.
Strong working knowledge of attribution and reporting, with the ability to connect channel performance to CRM and revenue outcomes.
Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor. You will personally execute campaigns, landing-page optimisation and automation rather than primarily delegating this work to agencies, vendors or junior team members.
Strong written communication, analytical ability and attention to detail.
Qualifications
5+ years of recent B2B demand-generation/performance-marketing experience. General B2B marketing experience without significant direct paid acquisition and pipeline ownership will not meet this requirement.
Bachelor’s degree

Experience with Zoho.
Experience with Zapier or comparable workflow-automation tools.
Familiarity with Figma, dashboards and data-visualisation tools.

This is a remote-based role which requires working 40 hours per week. The schedule for this position requires meaningful overlap with New York business hours while retaining reasonable flexibility around evening hours in your own time zone. Compensation will be based on skills, experience, and location.
