Job Description:

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing various types of data into digital databases, spreadsheets, or other data management systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently input and update data from various sources into digital databases or spreadsheets using established guidelines and procedures.
• Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, promptly correcting any errors or discrepancies.
• Conduct data cleansing and quality control tasks to ensure data integrity, including the identification and resolution of duplicates and inconsistencies.
• Maintain organized digital records and files, ensuring easy access to stored data when needed.
• Generate reports and summaries based on stored data to support decision-making processes and business operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors through digital channels, providing progress updates and promptly addressing data-related queries.
• Adhere to strict data security and confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

Skill Sets Required / Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry or related roles, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines consistently
