OWN CREATOR GROWTH FOR GERMANY WITHIN AN INTERNATIONAL ECOMMERCE GROUP

SMT Group is building the next generation of creator-led growth across its portfolio of international arts and crafts brands. With more than five million customers across 20+ countries, we're looking for a German Creator Manager to help make our German creator community one of the strongest in the group.

This is an opportunity to drive creator-led growth in one of SMT Group's key markets. You'll identify and activate high-performing creators, build a scalable network of content partners and turn creator relationships into a consistent pipeline of winning content for Meta, TikTok Shop and affiliate channels. You'll help turn creator activity into measurable commercial growth, while strengthening the brand's connection with its customers.

Founded in 2016, SMT Group operates a portfolio of digitally native arts and crafts brands, led by DIY Malen nach Zahlen in Germany, Schilder op Nummers in the Netherlands and DIY Art Club across international markets.

DIY Malen nach Zahlen has spent more than seven years building a substantial presence in German eCommerce, serving over one million customers. This is an established, locally relevant brand with a large customer community and an exciting opportunity to strengthen the way it connects with people through creator-led content.

The group operates at serious international scale, invests €200,000 per day on Meta advertising and launches more than 100 new product designs each week. SMT has launched with Trybe, opening a significant opportunity to scale creator-led affiliate activity alongside its established paid-social engine. TikTok Shop is about to launch, adding another major growth channel. Its products are made to be experienced and shared - ideal for creative storytelling, demonstrations, transformations and enthusiastic communities.

The ambition is simple: become the world's leading eCommerce group for creative hobby products. Germany is an important part of that journey.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll be the person who knows the German creator landscape inside out: who is emerging, who genuinely connects with audiences, what content resonates and which relationships are worth investing in.

Working with the international community team, Media Buyers and Creative, you'll develop and run creator activity that produces compelling content, strengthens brand affinity and informs better marketing decisions.

This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership. You'll help shape how German customers see and connect with DIY Malen nach Zahlen, influencing brand perception, customer relationships and the content that brings its products to life. You'll have the backing of an international business, access to a growing creator programme and the freedom to bring local insight and initiative to the table. You'll be close to the action as SMT scales its Trybe affiliate ecosystem and launches TikTok Shop, helping German creators produce content that can win organically and as paid advertising.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Build the German creator network

Identify, approach and recruit creators who are an excellent fit for SMT's products and audiences.
Develop authentic, long-term creator and ambassador relationships.
Grow an active community, not just a database of contacts.
Bring fresh thinking about emerging creators, platforms and German market trends.

Deliver standout creator campaigns

Manage onboarding, product seeding, creator briefs, timelines and content delivery.
Help creators develop content that feels natural, useful and engaging - and understand what makes an ad perform.
Turn creative strategy into practical creator education: coach creators on winning hooks, storytelling, demonstrations, briefs and iterations informed by Meta performance.
Run and engage creator communities, including Discord, sharing examples, feedback, learning sessions and creative best practices.
Help recruit, onboard and activate German creators through Trybe, and support hands-on creator activity as TikTok Shop launches.
Keep campaigns organised, relationships positive and execution consistently strong.
Support community initiatives and creator experiences that build lasting engagement.

Make the work commercially relevant

Track creator and content performance, spotting what works and why.
Share winning concepts, hooks, formats and audience insights with Creative and Media Buying teams.
Use those learnings to improve creator selection, briefs and future campaigns.
Contribute to the evolution of creator-led commerce and new growth opportunities.

Collaborate across markets

Work with the wider community team and senior leadership to share learnings and raise standards.
Bring a distinct German market perspective to international planning.
Help improve systems and processes as the programme scales.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Fluent German and strong working English.
Experience in creator partnerships, influencer marketing, UGC or community management.
A strong understanding of German creators, social platforms and online culture.
The ability to build relationships while delivering campaigns with precision.
A creative eye, a commercial mindset and confidence interpreting content performance.
A working understanding of performance creative and the ability to explain winning ad concepts clearly to creators.
Confidence engaging and educating creators in community channels such as Discord.
An organised, proactive approach and comfort working in a fast-moving business.

The difference makers will have experience with DTC brands, Meta creative & running affiliate programmes across Trybe & TikTok Shop.
