Creative Strategist

The Creative Strategist supports the Creative and Omnichannel team by translating the Manager's broader creative vision and direction into campaign-specific concepts, messaging, content, and creative frameworks that drive audience engagement and support business objectives. This role shapes the creative direction of assigned campaigns from initial ideation through execution, ensuring brand integrity, message consistency, and audience relevance across marketing channels.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop campaign creative strategy and execution: Translate business objectives, audience insights, and marketing strategies into campaign-specific creative concepts, messaging frameworks, and content approaches.
• Lead development of Hero Assets: Lead the development of campaign Hero Assets (primary creative concepts, generation of written content, and key visual assets that establish campaign messaging, tone, and creative direction) and provide creative guidance for supporting campaign materials.
• Provide creative consultation and brand stewardship: Serve as the creative subject matter expert for assigned campaigns, ensuring content and design align with audience needs, brand standards, and desired tone.
• Facilitate campaign ideation and creative collaboration: Partner with marketing, creative, digital, and project teams to develop, refine, and execute integrated campaign concepts and creative solutions.
• Review and optimize creative content and assets: Own quality assurance for creative deliverables and leverage AI-enabled tools, as appropriate, to support content development, review, and optimization.
• Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements: Partner with Insights and Analytics to assess creative effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and apply learnings to future campaigns.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, creative strategy, content development, advertising, brand management, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading campaign ideation, messaging strategy, creative development, and brand review processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional marketing, creative, content, and digital teams to develop integrated campaigns.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present creative concepts and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders. Life insurance or other highly regulated industry experience preferred.
• You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
• Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, English, Creative Writing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
