We support industrial customers and operators of mission-critical infrastructure, particularly within the rapidly growing Data Centre sector, where water management and cooling performance are business-critical.
The Role
As part of the continued growth of the European Data Centre market, we are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the development of strategic water treatment and cooling optimisation solutions across Europe.
You will engage with major Data Centre operators including hyperscalers, colocation providers, and large infrastructure operators, managing complex, high-value sales cycles across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development – Data Centres
- Identify and target key Data Centre operators across Europe
- Develop and secure multi-site / multi-country agreements
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities
- Drive new customer acquisition within mission-critical environments
Account Expansion & Growth
- Expand existing agreements into additional sites and regions
- Replicate proven technical solutions across customer portfolios
- Accelerate implementation and revenue generation
Technical & Strategic Sales
- Lead complex consultative sales cycles involving:
o water treatment
o cooling systems
o operational performance
o energy efficiency
· Develop high-value technical proposals
- Coordinate internal technical, engineering, and operational teams
Strategic Customer Relationships
- Engage with engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership stakeholders
- Position Chem-Aqua as a trusted partner in water treatment and cooling optimisation
What We’re Looking For
Experience
You have strong experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within areas such as:
- Industrial water treatment chemicals or services
- Cooling systems, HVAC, or thermal solutions
- Critical environments such as Data Centres, industrial operations, or utilities
You are likely already working within water treatment, specialty chemicals, technical services, or mission-critical infrastructure and are looking for a more strategic European-level commercial role.
- Proven success selling complex technical solutions
- Data Centre experience is advantageous, but not essential
Skills & Profile
- Strong business development and closing capability
- Comfortable operating in technical environments
- Able to engage confidently with engineers and operational teams
- Good understanding of water, cooling, and infrastructure performance challenges
- Self-driven, commercially focused, and relationship-oriented
Languages
· Fluent English required
· Spanish highly advantageous
