About the Opportunity

Our client is an AI consultancy based on the Gold Coast, Australia. It helps businesses adopt AI in practical, safe ways, through team training, workflow automation, agentic AI, and custom AI solutions. The work is bespoke and high value, and the company is growing. This is its first dedicated sales hire, working one-to-one with the founder.

You will find the right prospects, start the conversations, understand each business's problem, and work with the founder and technical team to turn that into a proposal and a signed deal.

What You'll Do

Own cold outreach on the company's LinkedIn platform to businesses in Australia and overseas
Follow up the warm leads that arrive each week from Google Ads
Qualify leads until they are engaged and asking the right questions
Capture each prospect's problem and requirements
Help the founder and technical team shape the proposal, then own the follow-up
Carry deals most of the way to close, with the founder joining for the final stretch
Track outreach, discovery meetings, and pipeline in the company's own CRM
Suggest ways to improve processes and tools to generate more leads

You own the pipeline from first outreach to a qualified, engaged lead, and keep it moving to close. The founder steps in on proposals and the final stretch, so you are never selling alone. Goals are clear and outcome based, with a reward for beating them.

What You Bring

5+ years of B2B sales, with strong cold outreach and prospecting skills
Some closing experience, and the drive to own the full sales cycle with founder support
Persuasive spoken and written English: you can convince a business owner that a service is worth their time
Experience selling to Australia, the US, UK, or another English-speaking market
A general understanding of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, and the confidence to talk about them
A self-driven, outcome-focused mindset, comfortable working to KPIs
An ethical approach that protects the company's reputation
Nice to have: experience selling technology or professional services
