Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of retail print, POSM, promotional merchandise and branded marketing assets across our key client account. Working as a key liaison between client stakeholders, internal teams and supplier partners, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement, innovation, sustainability and cost-saving initiatives.

We are seeking someone to work remotely, with flex to travel to client site as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Brand teams, acting as the primary day-to-day client contact.
• Manage multiple projects from initial brief through sourcing, production, logistics and final delivery, ensuring agreed service levels and client expectations are achieved.
• Source retail print, POSM, display units, promotional products and branded merchandise through approved supplier networks, ensuring value, quality and compliance.
• Oversee production, artwork approvals, proofing, sampling, manufacturing timelines and quality assurance processes across all deliverables.
• Manage budgets, purchase orders, invoicing processes and project spend whilst identifying productivity improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Produce regular reporting on project status, spend, savings, operational KPIs, service levels and account performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support innovation and sustainability initiatives by identifying new materials, technologies and production solutions that create value for the client.
• Share market insights, retail trends and best practice recommendations to enhance shopper engagement, drive operational efficiency and support account growth.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in Account Management, Project Management, Marketing Services, Print Management, POSM or Promotional Merchandise.
• Strong understanding of retail marketing, print production and point-of-sale materials.
• Experience managing projects from brief through to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with suppliers and coordinating multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Good commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and costs.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and project tracking tools.
• Experience within FMCG, retail, shopper marketing or agency environments.
• A proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and delivering excellent client service.
