The Workday Security & Configuration Administrator manages security, configuration, and business process design within the University's Workday environment. The position helps ensure Workday access and configuration remain secure, reliable, well-documented, and aligned with institutional requirements across HCM, Finance, and Student.

Working under the direction of the Manager of Enterprise Applications and Development, the Administrator works independently and collaboratively with University stakeholders and Information Technology teams to support Workday security, configuration, access governance, and related operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain Workday security groups, domains, and business processes across HCM, Finance, and Student.
Administer role-based access and security assignments using Workday security and business process configuration tools.
Audit and document access assignments to support institutional policy, access governance, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
Support Workday configuration and business process changes in coordination with functional stakeholders and Information Technology teams.
Use Workday reporting capabilities as needed to support security reviews, access analysis, and audit requirements.
Apply information security practices to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the University's information.
Maintain appropriate documentation for Workday security, configuration, access assignments, and related procedures.
Communicate with management, team members, and stakeholders regarding key issues, changes, and support needs.
Research emerging technologies and Workday capabilities relevant to assigned responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a computing discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience in enterprise system administration.
Experience with Workday Security, Business Processes, and configuration.
Broad-based knowledge of enterprise system security, access governance, and configuration management practices.
Understanding of access governance and compliance requirements, including FERPA and segregation of duties.
Understanding of Workday reporting as it relates to security and audit needs.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
