The Opportunity

Reporting to the President & CEO, we are looking for a Vice President of Revenue to own Binary Stream's full customer revenue lifecycle across new business, professional services, expansion, retention, and partner-led growth. Leading a team of 15+, you'll bring together new business, services, customer growth, and partner strategy into a single revenue engine, unlocking new opportunities across customers, partners, and markets while building on a strong foundation to drive the next stage of scalable growth.

Binary Stream sells through the Microsoft partner channel, with growth driven through System Integrators (SIs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). We're looking for a leader who understands partner-led growth, knows how to build strategic relationships, and can translate those relationships into measurable revenue outcomes.

What You Will Do

Revenue Strategy & Leadership

• Refine and execute Binary Stream's revenue strategy across new business, professional services, expansion, and retention, building on what already works rather than replacing it.
• Own performance across new ARR, professional services revenue, net revenue retention, gross churn, and expansion.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team across sales, account management, installed base growth while coaching in the field through direct customer and partner engagement.

Microsoft Partner Ecosystem & Strategic Alliances

• Own Binary Stream's global partner strategy across the Microsoft ecosystem, including SIs and ISVs, with joint pipeline and revenue targets.
• Deepen existing partner relationships, develop new strategic partnerships, and lead executive-level conversations across complex partner-led sales environments.
• Navigate shared account ownership, partner-held customer relationships, and competing priorities to drive mutual growth.

Software & Services Growth

• Own professional services as both a revenue stream and growth driver, developing pricing and packaging strategies that combine software and services while balancing margin, partner economics, and customer outcomes.
• Build repeatable services attach motions across new business and the installed base, ensuring our services complement partner-delivered work and drive long-term customer value.

New Business & Market Expansion

• Lead net-new customer acquisition across direct and partner-led channels, guiding teams through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to close high-value opportunities.
• Drive pipeline growth and market expansion through strong alignment with Marketing and targeted growth initiatives in strategic markets, including Europe.

Revenue Operations & Strategic Alignment

• Scale revenue operations through forecast accuracy, compensation design, and repeatable processes across new business, services, expansion, and renewals.
• Bring the voice of customers and partners into product priorities using retention, adoption, and win-loss insights to identify growth opportunities.

Partner-Led Growth & Customer Retention

• Turn our partner ecosystem into a growth and advocacy engine, creating commercial incentives for SIs and resellers to expand Binary Stream's footprint within existing accounts while strengthening visibility into end-user needs.
• Own customer retention and growth across the installed base, including renewals, upsell, cross-sell, and services expansion, with accountability for net revenue retention and executive escalation of strategic accounts and partner conflicts.

What You Bring

• Revenue Leadership. 10+ years in B2B software sales and 5+ years leading teams of 15+ in companies with revenues exceeding $20M, including experience carrying a quota as an account manager.
• Channel & Partnership Expertise. First-hand experience working with channel partners, including SIs, resellers, alliances, or other strategic partners, with a strong understanding of partner-led growth models and ISV and SI dynamics.
• Strategic Relationship Building. Track record of expanding existing partner relationships, developing new partnerships, and driving revenue growth through partner ecosystems.
• Software & Services Commercialization. Experience pricing, packaging, and selling software and professional services together to maximize customer and commercial value.
• Installed Base Growth. Experience building or leading renewal, upsell, cross-sell, or inside-sales motions that drive revenue growth within existing accounts.
• Full Revenue Lifecycle Ownership. Experience leading both new business and post-sales functions, with direct accountability for retention and net revenue retention.
• ERP & Business Applications Experience. Experience in ERP or related business software serving mid-market and enterprise customers. Understanding of the Microsoft partner ecosystem and Dynamics channel is a strong asset.
• Revenue Operations Excellence. Strong command of SaaS metrics, forecasting, CRM discipline, and revenue operations, leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce to drive performance.

• You own the whole number. You think in total revenue, not just what is closed but what is kept and grown, and you hold one team accountable to it.

Compensation and Benefits Package

At Binary Stream, we know compensation is important to our people. To stay competitive with our pay and benefits, annually we collect and analyze industry benchmarking data from the technology sector across Canada. This data is used to regularly update our salary ranges.

Base Salary Hiring Range: $168,000 – $235,000 CAD
This range reflects a starting point for a new hire in this role. The final offer will be based on your experience, skill set, and the unique value you bring. In exceptional cases, compensation above this range may be considered.

Revenue Growth Incentive Opportunity

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a revenue growth bonus targeted at 20-30% of base salary, aligned to company revenue targets and partner growth objectives that result in measurable business impact – reflecting executive accountability for revenue and overall company performance.

Annual Performance-Based Bonus:

Employees are eligible for an annual performance-based bonus that reflects both individual performance and company-wide results.
