Role Overview

The Vice President of People & Culture (VP, P&C) will report to the CEO and serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). In this role, you will own the overall People & Culture strategy, shape enterprise-wide culture transformation, and lead M&A integration from a human capital perspective. Leading a lean, agile P&C team, you will balance high-level strategic alignment with hands-on execution to build an environment where top talent thrives.

Who you are:

• 10+ years of progressive HR/People leadership, with at least 3–5 years leading a P&C/HR function.
• Track record of driving large-scale culture change, organizational design shifts, and manager enablement programs that demonstrably improve engagement and performance.
• Deep understanding of compensation architecture (banding, equity, benchmarking), executive compensation, and multi-jurisdiction labor compliance/employment law.
• Skilled in analyzing organizational structure (spans, layers, role clarity) and utilizing HR metrics/dashboards to guide executive decision-making.
• Demonstrated success building, mentoring, and leading a lean, agile P&C team, with a willingness to balance executive strategy with hands-on execution.
• Ability to translate corporate strategy into practical people priorities that drive measurable business outcomes.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and credibility needed to coach executives, resolve complex employee relations matters, and sit on the Senior Leadership Team.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, rapid scaling, restructures, or integration phases with a clear, steady communication style.
• Experience owning the operating rhythm of a senior leadership team — running meeting cadences, goal-setting cycles, and cross-functional follow-through, not just participating in them.
• Hands-on experience leading human capital due diligence and post-merger integration, including compensation/benefits harmonization, culture integration, and talent retention strategies.

What you’ll do:

Strategic Leadership & Culture Transformation

• Serve on the Senior Leadership Team, partnering closely with the CEO to align human capital strategy with business objectives.
• Spearhead enterprise-wide culture transformation initiatives that elevate performance, employee engagement, and shared values.
• Serve as a trusted executive coach and advisor to senior leaders across talent strategy and change management.
• Partner with the CEO to design and facilitate the SLT operating cadence, structuring executive communications, strategic planning cycles, and decision-making frameworks that maximize leadership effectiveness.

Team Leadership & P&C Operations

• Lead, mentor, and direct an agile, high-performing People & Culture team.
• Establish P&C metrics and dashboards to track talent health, turnover, and execution against strategic milestones.

Culture, Engagement & Organizational Design

• Lead organizational design initiatives—defining reporting structures, spans of control, and role clarity—to support growth, restructuring, or post-M&A scaling.
• Own the engagement feedback loop (surveys, listening sessions) and translate insights into actionable strategy for the leadership team.
• Drive the continuous performance management lifecycle, calibration processes, and frontline manager enablement.

Total Rewards & HR Infrastructure

• Establish and govern the company’s compensation philosophy, benchmarking, salary banding, and pay equity initiatives.
• Oversee benefits strategies, payroll operational partnerships, and HRIS data infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.

Employee Relations, Policy & Compliance

• Serve as the executive point of accountability for employment law compliance and risk mitigation across all operating jurisdictions.
• Direct fair, thorough employee relations investigations and establish clear, consistent resolution standards.
• Maintain up-to-date company policies, employee handbooks, leave protocols, and job classifications.

M&A Strategy & Integration

• Lead human capital due diligence for acquisitions, evaluating leadership talent, cultural alignment, compliance risks, and organizational structure.
• Design and execute post-acquisition P&C integration plans to unify cultures, harmonize total rewards, and secure critical talent retention.
