As we continue to expand our portfolio of brands through strategic acquisitions, we are seeking a visionary marketing leader to build and scale our enterprise marketing function and drive growth across our entire brand portfolio.

Position Overview

The Vice President of Marketing will serve as the senior marketing leader for Youth Athletes United, responsible for establishing and executing the overarching marketing strategy across our growing portfolio of brands. This role is critical to building the marketing infrastructure, processes, and team needed to scale the organization as additional brands are acquired and integrated. The VP of Marketing will lead a multi-brand marketing function, connecting marketing activity directly to revenue growth while ensuring each brand maintains a strong, differentiated market position. This role reports directly to the CEO/President of Youth Athletes United.

Primary Focus

Establish the overarching marketing strategy and infrastructure needed to scale the portfolio as additional brands are acquired. The VP of Marketing will serve as the architect of enterprise-level marketing, balancing the needs of individual brands with the strategic priorities of the overall organization.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio-Level Marketing Leadership

• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide marketing strategy that drives growth, brand equity, and customer acquisition across the entire Youth Athletes United brand portfolio
• Establish a scalable marketing infrastructure including processes, systems, and standards that support the efficient integration of newly acquired brands
• Serve as the primary marketing voice at the executive leadership level, connecting marketing initiatives directly to revenue outcomes, growth targets, and organizational priorities

Multi-Brand Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Lead the development of annual and long-term marketing strategies for each brand within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals
• Define and manage brand architecture and positioning across the portfolio, ensuring each brand has a clear, differentiated identity while maintaining cohesion within the Youth Athletes United family
• Determine the appropriate balance between centralized marketing functions and brand-specific marketing efforts, optimizing for both efficiency and brand authenticity

Marketing Integration for Acquired Brands

• Lead the marketing due diligence and integration process for newly acquired brands, developing onboarding frameworks that align new brands with Youth Athletes United standards and infrastructure
• Assess the marketing capabilities, assets, and gaps of acquired brands and develop integration roadmaps that minimize disruption while maximizing growth opportunity
• Establish consistent brand standards, messaging frameworks, and marketing playbooks that can be efficiently applied to new brands as they join the portfolio

Customer Acquisition & Growth Strategy

• Develop and oversee enterprise-wide customer acquisition strategies across digital, traditional, and emerging marketing channels
• Identify and capitalize on cross-portfolio growth opportunities including cross-brand promotions, shared audience strategies, and unified loyalty and engagement programs
• Drive data-driven decision making by establishing customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies that improve acquisition efficiency and customer lifetime value across all brands

Marketing Budgets & Resource Allocation

• Own and manage the enterprise marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources across brands, channels, and initiatives to maximize ROI
• Develop budget frameworks that balance investment across brand-specific needs and centralized marketing functions
• Provide regular budget performance reporting to the executive leadership team, making data-informed recommendations for reallocation and optimization

Marketing Technology & Infrastructure

• Evaluate, select, and oversee the implementation of marketing technology platforms including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and content management systems across the portfolio
• Establish a unified marketing technology stack that supports scalability, data integrity, and operational efficiency across all brands
• Ensure all brands are leveraging technology to its fullest potential to drive personalization, automation, and measurable marketing performance

Agency & Vendor Strategy

• Develop and manage an enterprise agency and vendor strategy, identifying opportunities to consolidate partnerships for efficiency while ensuring each brand receives the specialized support it needs
• Negotiate and manage contracts with key agency partners, media vendors, and marketing service providers
• Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for all agency and vendor relationships

Enterprise Marketing KPIs & Reporting

• Define, track, and report on enterprise-level marketing KPIs including brand awareness, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, revenue attribution, and portfolio-wide marketing ROI
• Develop and deliver regular marketing performance dashboards and executive reporting that clearly connect marketing activity to business outcomes
• Establish a culture of measurement and accountability across the marketing organization, ensuring all teams are working toward clearly defined and meaningful metrics

Marketing Organization Structure & Team Development

• Design and build a high-performing marketing organization capable of supporting a growing portfolio of brands, including defining roles, reporting structures, and future hiring priorities
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Identify skill gaps within the current marketing team and develop hiring and development plans to address organizational needs as the portfolio scales

Marketing Processes & Standards

• Establish standardized marketing processes, workflows, and best practices across all brands to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality of output
• Develop a portfolio-wide marketing playbook that documents brand standards, campaign frameworks, approval processes, and go-to-market strategies
• Implement project management and marketing operations tools that improve cross-functional collaboration and campaign execution across brands and teams

Brand Architecture & Positioning

• Define and steward the overall brand architecture for Youth Athletes United, ensuring clarity in how the parent brand and individual portfolio brands relate to and support one another
• Lead brand positioning and messaging development for new and existing brands, ensuring each brand occupies a clear, compelling, and defensible position in the market
• Conduct regular brand health assessments and competitive analyses to inform positioning strategy and identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth

Revenue & Growth Connectivity

• Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Franchise Development, Operations, and Finance to ensure marketing strategies are directly aligned with revenue and growth objectives
• Develop marketing attribution models that provide clear visibility into how marketing investment is driving pipeline, revenue, and customer growth across the portfolio
• Present regular marketing performance updates to executive leadership, demonstrating the direct connection between marketing activity and business results

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred, with 10+ years of progressive marketing experience including at least 5 years in a senior marketing leadership role overseeing multi-brand or multi-unit marketing strategy
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling marketing functions within a high-growth, acquisition-driven, or franchise organization with a proven track record of driving measurable customer acquisition, brand growth, and revenue impact
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with deep expertise in digital marketing, marketing technology, brand management, and data-driven strategy

Preferred

• Experience in the franchise, youth sports, youth education, or consumer services industry with familiarity in franchise development marketing and the franchise broker and consultant ecosystem
• Experience leading marketing due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions with the ability to quickly assess brand gaps and build actionable integration roadmaps
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant marketing budgets, demonstrating clear ROI, and presenting performance results to executive leadership
