Summary:

The Vendor Engagement Specialist assists with managing vendor relationships by driving results and accountability while maintaining operational integrity.

How our Vendor Engagement Specialist spends their time:

• Vendor Relationship Support
  • Offers support as needed across the entire vendor lifecycle, from helping the team vet new partners to assisting with onboarding and relationship management tasks.
  • Helps keep clients and internal teams informed by posting updates to the message center, the company delay chat, and the client-facing delays page.
  • Collaborate directly with vendors to address and resolve operational issues, including investigating delays, answering process-related inquiries, and handling other communications as necessary.
• Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution
  • Drives vendor accountability by systematically monitoring performance, analyzing error trends and rechecks, reporting on key metrics, and actively engaging in vendor meetings to address issues.
  • Proactively identifies and reports on vendor-related issues, collaborating on solutions and escalating to leadership to ensure swift resolution.
• Operational Excellence
  • Maintains operational integrity by conducting regular queue cleanups for all vendor files.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds team productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Executes tasks and projects by following all established policies, procedures, and workflows as directed by department leadership.
• Team Collaboration & Project Support
  • Actively contributes to a team-based environment by providing clear communication and cross-functional support.
  • Successfully manages and completes special projects as assigned by department leadership.
• Additional Items
  • As with any dynamic role, the Vendor Engagement Specialist will also take on other duties as needed to support the team and the broader goals of the organization.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the drug screening and/or background screening
• industry.
• Navigate between multiple windows/browsers with ease, perform extensive internet research, and type 45 WPM.

• Working knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to gain extensive knowledge of background screening and related industry vendors, and how it relates to the information we obtain.
• Able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
• Preferred experience in a remote work setting.
• Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately.
