UK - Online English Tutor (KS3, 11+ & GCSE) – Remote

This is a remote position.

We are expanding and looking for passionate, experienced English Tutors to support students across the UK.

Subjects include:• KS3 English• 11+ 12+ 13+ English Preparation• GCSE English Language & Literature• Creative Writing• Verbal ReasoningKey Areas for 11+, KS3 & GCSE:• Reading comprehension, creative writing & analytical skills• Essay and extended writing techniques• Grammar, punctuation & vocabulary development• Shakespeare, poetry & modern texts• Creative and transactional writing• Exam techniques, revision strategies & coursework supportEntrance Exam Board Experience:

• CSSE , FSCE , GL Assessment
• Independent school entrance exams
• AQA, OCR, Edexcel

Requirements

Key Requirements:✔ Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for 11+, KS3 & GCSE English✔ Previous tutoring or teaching experience✔ Excellent communication skills✔ Ability to deliver engaging, student-focused online lessons✔ Professional online teaching setup with reliable internet✔ Commitment to safeguarding and child protectionSuccessful applicants will be required to complete safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check and references.Desirable:• Experience preparing students for grammar and independent school entrance exams• UK school or tutoring background• Safeguarding training• Strong creative writing teaching skills
