Summary

As a Finance & Payments Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in managing our financial operations and relationships with platform partners, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant payment and settlement processes. You will oversee the financial cycle end to end, including billing, settlements, reconciliations, and balance monitoring, while collaborating closely with Operations, Compliance, Technology, Sales, and Client Support teams to support our growing payments business.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Partner Management

• Manage day-to-day relationships with platform partners, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of all related activities.
• Handle daily partner correspondence and coordinate operational matters.

Financial Operations & Billing

• Oversee the end-to-end financial operations cycle, including billing, preparation of bank transaction orders, and maintenance of accurate system records.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure all operational records are up to date.

Settlements & Reconciliation

• Develop, maintain, and update fee schedules and settlement parameters.
• Calculate and execute settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Reconcile settlements against internal systems and investigate discrepancies.

Payment Monitoring & Clearing

• Monitor balances and analyse payment flows to identify discrepancies, potential risks, and operational issues proactively.
• Review and monitor clearing fees, ensuring accuracy and alignment with agreed commercial terms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Support

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Sales teams to ensure efficient and seamless processes.
• Provide financial and settlement-related support to Client Support.
• Handle daily client correspondence and assist with financial and settlement inquiries.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Ensure all financial and operational activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Banking. Postgraduate studies are considered a plus.

• Solid experience in accounting, finance, or banking operations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to design and maintain AI-assisted processes, including reusable prompts, templates, and agent workflows, while critically reviewing AI-generated outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payments, fintech, or iGaming.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or BI tools, such as Power BI.

Languages

• Advanced/ Fluent written and spoken English - Directly report to the Greece team.
• Spanish (mandatory).
