Travel Consultant (Amadeus, VTO, Travefy)

About the Role

The client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Travel Consultant to manage travel arrangements, assist clients with their travel needs, and create seamless travel experiences. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of travel booking systems, itinerary planning, and travel coordination, with hands-on experience using Amadeus, Travefy, and VTO.

The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, organised, and confident in handling travel reservations, preparing customised itineraries, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning and booking process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transfers, tours, and other travel-related services.
• Use Amadeus to search, book, modify, and manage flight reservations.
• Create, organise, and manage detailed travel itineraries using Travefy.
• Utilise VTO for travel operations, booking coordination, and other relevant travel management tasks.
• Research destinations, travel options, suppliers, and travel packages to meet clients' preferences and budgets.
• Prepare customised travel itineraries, quotations, and travel proposals.
• Handle booking amendments, cancellations, rebookings, and other travel-related requests.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, travel suppliers, and other service providers to ensure smooth travel arrangements.
• Provide clients with accurate travel information, including flight details, accommodation arrangements, travel requirements, and relevant documentation.
• Monitor booking confirmations, payment deadlines, and travel schedules.
• Resolve travel-related issues and provide timely assistance to clients before and during their trips.
• Maintain accurate client records, booking details, and travel documentation.
• Ensure all travel arrangements are accurate and aligned with client requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Agent, Travel Coordinator, or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience using Amadeus, Travefy, and VTO.
• Strong understanding of flight reservations, ticketing procedures, and travel booking processes.
• Experience creating customised travel itineraries and travel proposals.
• Knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, booking amendments, and cancellation procedures.
• Excellent customer service and client communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected travel changes.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling international travel bookings.
• Knowledge of international travel requirements, including visas, travel documentation, and entry regulations.
• Experience coordinating complex itineraries and multi-destination travel arrangements.
• Previous experience working with international clients or travel agencies.
