What You Can Expect

In this role, you serve as the primary technical point of contact for Zoom's most strategic enterprise customers, owning integration challenges from first report to final resolution across Zoom's full suite of Video, Native, Mobile, and CoBrowse SDKs. Day to day, you partner with SDK engineering, Solutions Engineers, and CSMs to diagnose multi-layer technical problems, lead customer troubleshooting calls, and translate complex issues into documented solutions that millions of developers depend on. Candidates without hands-on experience reading and debugging code across JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, or without direct API/SDK integration or troubleshooting experience, will find the core technical demands of this role difficult to meet. This is a strong opportunity for a technically grounded customer advocate ready to solve hard problems and make a measurable difference at scale. This role reports to a Manager, Technical Account Engineer.

About the Team

The API & SDK team serves as the embedded technical experts for Zoom's most demanding enterprise accounts, covering the full lifecycle of SDK and API integration challenges across Video, Native, Mobile, and CoBrowse SDKs. We collaborate closely with iOS, Web, and CoBrowse engineering alongside TAMs, CSMs, and Solutions Engineers to ensure end-to-end issue ownership and resolution. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical support for enterprise customers integrating Zoom's Video SDK (Web, iOS, Android), Meeting SDK, Native SDK, Mobile SDK, and CoBrowse SDK into their products.
• Debug across the full stack, including client-side JavaScript/TypeScript, native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java), Python backend services, and REST/WebSocket APIs.
• Reproduce, isolate, and document customer-reported bugs using session logs, HAR traces, and SDK diagnostics, then drive resolution in close partnership with engineering.
• Lead technical troubleshooting calls with customer engineering teams to diagnose issues, provide workarounds, and coordinate fixes with Zoom SDK engineering.
• Translate customer pain into engineering action by filing detailed bug reports, advocating for feature requests, and ensuring fixes land in the right SDK release.
• Develop and deliver customer-facing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, migration guides, and release-impact assessments.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in developer advocacy, solutions engineering, or developer relations, with a focus on API/SDK integration, troubleshooting, or customer enablement
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, with comfort reading and debugging code written by others
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0 (Server-to-Server and Authorization Code), webhooks, and API rate-limit patterns
• Hands-on experience integrating or troubleshooting client-side SDKs (Web, iOS, or Android); experience with real-time communication SDKs such as WebRTC, SIP, or SRTP is a plus
• Ability to analyze network traces, console logs, HAR files, and crash reports to isolate and pinpoint root cause
• Proven ability to communicate with equal clarity to engineering and product audiences, with strong written and verbal English skills
• Experience with iOS (Swift/Objective-C), Android (Kotlin/Java), CoBrowse technologies, RTMS, media pipelines, or CI/CD frameworks for SDK releases is a bonus
