Job Title: Tax Preparer
A U.S.-based accounting firm is looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our remote team. Were seeking someone detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in preparing individual and business tax returns while ensuring full compliance with U.S. tax laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1065, etc.).
- Verify accuracy of data and documentation before filing.
- Communicate with clients to collect necessary financial information.
- Stay up to date on IRS regulations and filing requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer (U.S. tax experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable laptop/PC and strong internet connection are a must.
- Ability to work remote, full-time during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
