Subject Matter Expert – Enterprise Software Workflows

The Opportunity

This is a part-time specialist opportunity supporting a SaaS company working to understand the current capabilities and limitations of AI tools when interacting with professional software. The client is developing realistic, safe simulations that allow AI models to attempt important software workflows while their performance is closely observed and evaluated. You will bring current, hands-on expertise in CaseWare Working Papers, Orion AdvisorTech, or AuditBoard to help ensure these workflows and simulations accurately reflect how expert users operate in real-world environments. You will work day-to-day with the client’s internal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and explain the most important real-world workflows performed by expert users of CaseWare Working Papers, Orion AdvisorTech, or AuditBoard.
• Demonstrate realistic, complex workflows from the perspective of a current, experienced user of your respective platform.
• Help the client understand how expert users interact with the software during day-to-day work.
• Help determine appropriate ways to score and grade an AI tool attempting to assist with or perform identified workflows.
• Support the creation of safe software simulations by providing expert input on how closely simulated workflows reflect the real-world application.
• Help evaluate whether AI tool performance observed in simulations is representative of performance within real-world software.
• Collaborate regularly with internal team members while meeting agreed deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work quality.

Compensation

Competitive monthly compensation based on experience and role scope.

Monthly compensation ranges from ₱40,000 – ₱50,000, depending on experience and role scope. Final compensation is aligned with the candidate’s experience level.

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills Required

• Current, day-to-day hands-on expertise with at least one of the following: CaseWare Working Papers, Orion AdvisorTech, or AuditBoard.
• Ability to demonstrate and explain realistic, complex workflows within the platform you currently use.
• For Orion AdvisorTech specialists, experience with Portfolio Accounting and/or Advisor Portfolio is of particular interest.
• For AuditBoard specialists, experience with SOXHUB and/or Internal Audit is of particular interest.
• Specialist-level experience, ideally 2–5 years, with relevant industry experience.

Professional Skills Required

• Professional working English proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal team members.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, confidentiality, and discretion, with the ability to manage occasional competing priorities.

• Current expert users who work hands-on with CaseWare Working Papers, Orion AdvisorTech, or AuditBoard as part of their day-to-day professional responsibilities.
• Professionals who can clearly explain how complex, real-world workflows are performed and what successful execution looks like.
• Reliable professionals who can consistently meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work.

Professional Readiness

Candidates applying for this role should have a reliable home office setup, stable internet connection, and the ability to maintain consistent availability during the required working hours.

Successful candidates communicate proactively, meet deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities while working remotely.

This is a part-time role of 20+ hours per week with a flexible schedule. Candidates should be available for occasional calls between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time and occasional evening or weekend availability as needed.
