Strategy Collective - Senior Social Media Manager
About this role
Own social strategy and execution for healthcare brands. $3,000-$4,000 USD/month | Full-time | U.S. Central Time alignmentStrategy Collective is a fully remote marketing agency specializing in private equity-backed healthcare companies. With around 50 team members spread across the US, Canada, Latin America, Sri Lanka, and other international locations, we bring together delivery teams covering paid media, SEO, web development, content, project management, creative, and data analytics. We're building something a bit different - a place where remote work actually works, where systems matter as much as creativity, and where your contribution to improving how we operate is valued just as highly as the client work you deliver.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You'll have the autonomy to own your accounts from planning through performance, the creative freedom to develop ideas rather than just fill calendars, and the opportunity to help shape how social media operates across our organization. If you enjoy turning strategic thinking into polished content, using data to improve what comes next, and building repeatable processes that make everyone's work better, you'll fit right in here.
We're looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who can own the full lifecycle of organic social media programs across a portfolio of clients. This is for someone who moves comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution - developing monthly social strategies, writing strong copy, designing polished creative, creating engaging short-form video, and using performance insights to guide what comes next. You'll report to our Creative Director and work closely with Creative, Marketing Management, Paid Media, Analytics, SEO, Consulting, and Project Management.
📋 Develop monthly and campaign-specific social strategies based on client goals, audiences, brand positioning, and performance
✏️ Build content calendars with clear themes, content pillars, formats, and objectives
💡 Write platform-appropriate copy, including hooks, headlines, captions, and calls to action
💻 Design polished static posts, carousels, educational content, event creative, and promotional assets
🎬 Concept and edit engaging short-form video, including Reels and content repurposed from longer-form video
📱 Schedule and publish approved content across client channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
🔧 Onboard new social media clients and accounts, including setup of new profiles and transition of existing accounts
🔑 Coordinate client login access, platform permissions, Business Manager access, and user roles
⚡ Respond quickly when urgent account action is required, including publishing time-sensitive content or removing content at a client's request
📊 Review monthly performance and translate data into clear recommendations for future content
✨ Maintain strong brand consistency, accuracy, and quality across deliverables
🤝 Collaborate with Creative, Paid Media, SEO, Analytics, Project Management, and client-facing teams
📐 Help establish repeatable social workflows, templates, standards, and best practices
What success looks like
🗓️ First 90 days: You're independently managing your assigned accounts - from strategy and account setup through publishing and reporting - with limited oversight.
🚀 3–6 months: You're helping improve how social media runs across the agency, building stronger workflows, creative standards, reporting practices, and repeatable processes that keep quality consistent at scale.
This is a fully remote role, but must be available to work until at least 2:00 PM U.S. Central Time (CT) each day to support live collaboration, meetings, and time-sensitive client requests.

✅ Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and workflows simultaneously
✅ Ability to respond calmly and quickly when urgent social account needs arise
✅ A positive, professional communication style and a collaborative approach to working with teammates and clients

We're looking for someone who understands why content exists before deciding what to create. The work requires creativity - developing ideas rather than simply filling a content calendar - combined with the analytical mindset to use performance data for continuous improvement. You deliver polished work before it reaches review, welcome constructive feedback and apply revisions thoughtfully, and bring positive energy to a collaborative team environment. Being resourceful matters here: troubleshooting access issues, managing urgent account needs, and naturally improving repeatable processes as you go. Curiosity keeps you current on evolving platforms and audience behavior, while accountability ensures you take ownership of the work from strategy through performance.
