About this role
About the Role
We're hiring a part-time Social Media & Content Design Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day social media presence and creative output. Reporting directly to the founder, you'll be the hands-on maker who posts for us, designs and edits the content that lives on our feed and runs as ads, and produces the marketing materials that bring the brand to life.
This is an execution-focused role at its core — but we want someone who, over time, brings fresh ideas to the table, not just clean execution.
Work Structure & Requirements
- Location: Remote / Virtual
- Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week), with a clear path to full-time as the business grows
- Time Zone: At least half of your working hours must overlap with EST business hours
- Compensation:(please confirm rate)
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management (Primary)
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence and on-brand rhythm across channels
- Write engaging, on-brand captions and social copy
- Keep a pulse on how posts perform and iterate on what's working
- Over time, contribute content and campaign ideas
2. Content Design & Editing (Primary)
- Design static graphics for both the organic feed and paid ads
- Edit and assemble short-form video — Reels, TikToks, and video ad creative — from raw footage shot by others (e.g., UGC creators); you'll be editing, not filming
- Edit and retouch product and lifestyle photography shot by others for use across social, ads, and marketing materials
- Keep everything consistent with our brand voice and visual identity, and build reusable templates to work faster over time
Note: this role owns the ad creative (statics and video); it does not include campaign setup, targeting, or media buying.
3. Marketing Materials (Secondary)
- Design posters, flyers, and other marketing collateral for both print and digital use
- Adapt and resize creative across formats and channels as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4–6+ years in social media content creation and/or graphic design, ideally for CPG brands
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio of static design and edited video content for social feeds and ads is required — please include examples when applying
- Design: Proficient in Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator; skilled at designing marketing materials for both print and digital
- Video: Strong short-form video editing skills using CapCut and/or Premiere Pro
- Print & Collateral: Experience designing posters, flyers, and marketing materials for print and digital use
- Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English with the ability to write on-brand captions and copy
- Eye for Detail: Sharp creative eye with strong attention to brand consistency and visual detail
- Profile: Proactive self-starter who executes independently and reliably; highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple content formats and deadlines
- Tools: Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook/Meta, Google Workspace
