Responsibilities:
- Learn, contribute to, and gradually take ownership ofservices in Rust
- Participate in modernizing existing platform capabilitiesand architecture
- Design and implement scalable APIs and distributed systemcomponents
- Help define and deliver valuable, testable, maintainableuser stories
- Write high-quality, well-tested code backed by automatedunit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production andperformance issues
- Contribute to performance, reliability, and scalabilityimprovements
- Collaborate with engineers across teams on strategicplatform enhancements
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Strong professional experience developing software in Rust
- Interest in and willingness to work with C++
- Solid grounding in software engineering principles andmodern development practices
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable,high-performance applications
- Strong knowledge of design principles and patterns,including SOLID and test-driven development
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, orcloud-native applications
- Experience with automated testing (unit, integration,end-to-end)
- Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, andsecurity fundamentals
- Experience with relational databases and data persistence
- Familiarity with REST APIs and service-orientedarchitectures
- Experience with containers and cloud platforms is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborationskills
