About this role

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join SeatGeek’s Platform team. You'll improve the systems that power the entirety of SeatGeek's technology ecosystem. This unique role combines both the craftsmanship and rigor of traditional Software Engineering, whilst also incorporating an openness to the development of the underlying infrastructure; including core compute, infrastructure as code, database, and network infrastructure.

The nature of the ticketing engineering industry places unique constraints and workflows on our systems and infrastructure, especially during high-load onsales, requiring out of the box solutions and automation to be the norm. This team is the backbone to our Enterprise and Consumer lines of business as we grow our primary and secondary ticketing platforms that support world-class clients such as the Dallas Cowboys, and Manchester City FC.
