Cielo is launching a new kind of talent service for a global medical technology company. It is a dedicated, search-led program that brings executive search rigour to the hiring of the client’s North American sales organisation. We are building a team of specialist recruiters to deliver it, and we want the best medical device sales recruiters in the market.

You will run searches for field sales roles from start to finish: territory managers, account executives, clinical specialists and sales leaders. You will work directly with the client’s sales leaders, map competitor talent, and bring them candidates they couldn’t find on their own.

What you will do

• Run searches end to end: intake with the hiring manager, the search, assessment, offer and close
• Find passive talent: map sales teams at competitor medical device companies and approach candidates who aren’t looking
• Advise sales leaders: tell them what the market will bear on territory, compensation and candidate quality
• Present tight shortlists: assessed against what drives performance in the field
• Build a network: keep a strong network in your specialist call points
• Work with the team: partner with the researchers and recruiting colleagues across North America

What you bring

• A track record recruiting medical device field sales talent, in agency, in-house or RPO
• Deep knowledge of sales roles in interventional, surgical, vascular access, infusion or comparable call points
• A record of filling hard roles with passive candidates
• The confidence to challenge hiring managers and hold a high bar
• Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search skills
• Comfort working at pace across several searches at once

Work with your research team: your dedicated researchers handle market mapping and sourcing, so you spend your time on candidates and hiring managers

You will run searches for field sales roles from start to finish: territory managers, account executives, clinical specialists and sales leaders. You will work directly with the client’s sales leaders, map competitor talent, and bring them candidates who aren’t responding to advertising. A dedicated team of researchers will support you, mapping the market and building candidate pipelines.

You will need the following:

• At least 10 years experience of senior stakeholder and client relationship management, including directing small teams.
• At least 5 years in and end to end talent acquisition role, including retained Executive Search.
• Experience in writing insightful profiles and reports.
• Demonstrable experience on working within tight timescales and high demand clients or environments.
• Demonstrable experience on being the ‘trusted advisor’.
• Strong external networks and understanding of best practice.
• Influencing and negotiating, being able to quickly build robust relationships based on trust and confidence with a proven track record in delivering results that benefit the customer’s business objectives.
• Effective project management skills.
• Proactively increases own knowledge and commercial awareness whilst keeping abreast of new innovations in attraction methodologies.
• Ability to produce and analyse data, identify opportunities and using data to drive decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex situations conceptually and provide workable solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
• Customer focused. High candidate & client focus, lateral thinker, problem solver, able to work independently with chance to use own initiative.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in one other language is ideal but not essential.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
