The Role

As our Senior Sales Cloud Engineer, you will take ownership of Salesforce Sales Cloud and help transform it into a scalable, reliable platform for a high-growth SaaS business. This is a hands-on, foundational role for someone who can work through legacy technical debt, turn evolving business requirements into practical solutions, and deliver improvements end to end.

You will define the platform structure, governance and long-term roadmap; improve opportunity, customer contract and subscription lifecycle processes; strengthen data quality and automation; and own the connection between Salesforce and DealHub CPQ. You will also help establish Sales Cloud as the single source of truth for customer data and enable future AI-driven workflows.

What You'll Do

• Act as the owner of Salesforce Sales Cloud, defining its structure, governance, and long-term roadmap
• Design and improve scalable Opportunity and Customer Contract management processes
• Put in place safeguards and flows to ensure our customer data stays relevant and accurate
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities, and proactively drive improvements
• Own both the operation and connection to DealHub CPQ
• Sandbox testing and deployment to Production for upcoming changes
• Partner with Service and Product teams to ensure strong data foundations for AI-driven workflows
• Drive adoption of AI features to improve efficiency, response quality, and customer experience

What You Bring

Essential

• Strong hands-on technical and project delivery experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Proven experience as the primary Sales Cloud owner or technical lead in a scaling or high-growth environment.
• Experience building or significantly restructuring a Sales Cloud environment, including addressing legacy technical debt.
• Experience owning or working extensively with DealHub CPQ and its integration with Salesforce.
• Deep understanding of SaaS contract and subscription lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce data structures, governance, process standardisation, automation and Flow.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and delivering technical initiatives independently from definition through to implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Salesforce certifications.

Desirable

• Experience integrating Salesforce with platforms such as Tableau or NetSuite.
• Experience implementing or supporting AI-assisted sales workflows or Salesforce AI capabilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS organisation, including a private equity-backed environment.
• Experience improving Salesforce adoption through documentation, enablement and change management.
