The Role

The Senior Product Marketing Manager (Sr. PMM) owns the positioning, messaging, and cross-functional execution for Level Data’s product portfolio. This is a critical role responsible for driving product adoption, supporting revenue growth, and representing the voice of the educator throughout the product lifecycle.

You’ll turn complex product capabilities into clear, compelling stories that resonate with K–12 decision-makers—from district administrators and special education leaders to curriculum, technology, data, and executive leadership.

This is an ideal role for a strategic product marketer who can connect customer insight, market dynamics, and company priorities into clear messaging and executable GTM plans. Equally important, this person works AI-first: fluent with AI tools in day-to-day execution, and deliberate about turning that fluency into documented, repeatable workflows that compound the team's output over time.

Core Responsibilities

• Positioning & messaging:Develop differentiated messaging and value propositions that resonate with district decision makers, teachers, and curriculum leaders.
• Go-to-marketing strategy:Lead go-to-market planning for new products, features, enhancements, and strategic initiatives; Develop launch strategies, target audiences, messaging, enablement plans, campaign recommendations, and success metrics.
• Sales enablement:Create high-impact sales collateral, pitch decks, training materials, and objection-handling guides. Deliver product training to Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Customer & Market Insight:Serve as the voice of the customer and competitive research.Build an AI-assisted research cadence — synthesizing customer calls, win/loss data, support themes, and competitive sources on a predictable schedule — and translateinsights into actionable recommendations for product development and marketing campaigns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Product Managers to influence roadmap prioritization. Support product launch in partnership with the marketing team.
• Content & Demand Generation:Translate product strategy into campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, pipeline, and revenue; Develop messaging and content for campaigns, webinars, events, thought leadership, product pages, guides, and other marketing programs.
• AI-Enabled Process & Productivity:Own how AI is applied across product marketing. Build, document, and continuously improve repeatable AI-assisted workflows for messaging, content, research, and enablement; set quality and review standards so AI output meets our bar; and measure the productivity gains those workflows deliver.

• 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, B2B SaaS marketing, or a related role.
• Deep familiarity with K-12 education landscape and adoption market.
• Experience in fast-growing organizations, including shaping positioning and messaging after acquisitions to create a cohesive portfolio story.
• Strong ability to translate complex products and technical capabilities into simple, compelling customer stories.
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and customer data.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools in a marketing context, not just experimentation, but consistent use in producing real work.
• A track record of turning AI use into repeatable process: documented workflows, reusable prompts and templates, and quality standards others on the team can follow.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or MA in Education/Marketing) a plus.
