The Role
We’re hiring a Senior HR Manager to own the full HR relationship for a portfolio of North American clients, not just running processes, but actively shaping how those companies approach culture, retention, and people operations. This is a role for someone who has done HR end-to-end and knows the difference between maintaining an HR function and building one.
You’ll work directly with founders and leadership teams as a trusted advisor, not a task-taker. You’ll manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, each at a different stage of maturity, and you’ll be expected to bring ideas to the table before clients ask for them. This role also has a business development component: you’ll help grow the client base and identify new relationship and revenue opportunities, not just service the ones we already have.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end HR delivery for multiple North American client accounts at once: onboarding, policy, performance management, employee relations, offboarding, and everything in between
• Build genuine relationships with client leadership so Flexihire becomes indispensable, not interchangeable
• Proactively identify gaps in a client’s HR function and bring solutions such as culture initiatives, process improvements, and performance frameworks, without being asked
• Help identify and develop new client relationships and growth opportunities, working alongside the founder on business development
• Spot expansion opportunities within existing accounts (additional services, upsells, referrals)
• Handle North American HR compliance, benefits, and employment practices with fluency, not just familiarity
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting client priorities without dropping the ball on any one account
• Mentor and delegate appropriately to junior HR support staff, without offloading the work that makes you valuable
• Partner directly with Flexihire’s founder on service strategy, client retention, and account growth

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in HR, with genuine end-to-end experience, not limited to one function like payroll or benefits administration
• Direct experience supporting North American (US/Canada) companies; you understand the compliance landscape, not just the paperwork
• A track record of building something for a client or employer, whether a program, a process, or a culture shift, not just running what already existed
• Comfort managing multiple client relationships simultaneously, each with different needs and maturity levels
• Strong client-facing communication; you can sit across from a founder and be a trusted advisor, not just a service provider
• Some comfort with or interest in business development, relationship building, and helping grow a client base
• A bias toward ownership: you’d rather solve a problem than pass it along
• Based in the Philippines, able to work North American hours as needed for client calls
