Small team, so you'll genuinely shape how marketing works here, not just execute someone else's playbook.
You'll own demand gen, influencer/WoM, partner & affiliate, and sales enablement - the work doesn't get repetitive.
We actively learn about new tech and AI tools and adopt where we can - we use Claude, Cowork, skills and plugins ourselves, and expect you to as well.
Remote-first, but we get together regularly - company-wide and as a team.
The founding team consists of serial founders and experienced big-tech operators from Twilio, Wise, and Skype.
What We’re Building
We help Software companies turn their users and partners into a sales channel through referrals, sharing, and recommendations - 15M+ end users interact with our system every month.
Category leaders including Bolt, Miro, and Veed trust Cello to accelerate their growth flywheel. Under the hood: attribution across complex user journeys, recommendation engines, and multi-tenant infrastructure serving hundreds of customers - deeper than you'd expect from a referral tool, and a good story to tell.
Inbound already drives 65% of our pipeline. The challenge now is to compound that advantage: run the demand gen and hero campaigns that keep pipeline growing, take our product marketing engine to the next level and operationalize our micro-influencer program.
🌟 Your Mission
Demand Gen
You own and run integrated campaigns for key moments - product launches, category events, funding announcements
You own and run our flagship program, the GTM10 Awards, end-to-end, and leverage community opportunities
You build and optimize the demand gen funnel - paid, owned, and earned channels - and own the metrics that show what's actually driving pipeline
You run always-on campaigns alongside the big moments, so pipeline isn't just spiky around launches
Product Marketing
You own positioning and messaging for new features and releases, translating product updates into customer-facing narratives
You partner with product on launch plans, the customer newsletter, website updates, and pricing/packaging input.
You produce the sales collateral sales actually use: battlecards, one-pagers, customer success stories.
Micro-Influencer:
You operationalize Cello's micro-influencer program - identify GTM practitioners, VCs, and Software operators as distribution partners, and track influencer-attributed pipeline and WoM reach.
You'll work closely with Stefan (CEO) and Philipp (CoS), alongside Andrea (content/SEO) and Julia (partnerships), plus freelance design support and the sales team.
About You
Required
Grit and high self-motivation - you don't wait for a playbook, you build one, and keep pushing when the first things you try don't work.
At least 5-7 years in a high-growth environment, ideally B2B software, having owned a content, growth, or demand gen function - not just contributed to one.
LLM-first - Claude (or similar) is your default for everything, and you're familiar with using Claude, Co-work, skills, and plugins
A proven track record running demand-gen and/ content programs that generate pipeline, not just traffic.
An excellent sense of design - you know what great looks like.
Organized and autonomous - you manage multiple workstreams without dropping things.
Solid technical understanding - comfortable enough with marketing/automation tooling, data and analytics, and the product itself to hold your own in a technical conversation with engineering.
Excellent English - sharp, clear, persuasive copy across formats.
Nice-to-haves
SEO/GEO Experience
Experience with CMS toolings (e.g. Framer, Webflow…)
Experience in a PLG or referral/WoM context
