Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a Senior SEO & GEO Specialist to own how buyers find, understand, and evaluate Influ2 through organic and AI search.

Buyers use AI tools alongside search engines, vendor content, and conversations to research solutions and compare options. We want Influ2 to provide accurate, useful information as buyers explore our category, evaluate alternatives, and build their shortlists.

The role is roughly 60% generative engine optimization and 40% traditional organic search. You will own the strategy, run experiments, and turn what you learn into action.

What you’ll do

• Grow AI search visibility. Understand the questions, topics, comparisons, alternatives, and use cases that matter to our buyers, and improve Influ2’s presence across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot. Build representative prompt sets and track brand mentions, descriptions, citations, cited sources, and competitors through repeated checks across platforms.
• Turn search demand into useful, cite-worthy content. Identify where we have content gaps and what needs to be created, updated, or restructured. Guide content and product marketing teams on clear definitions, comparisons, FAQs, original data, customer evidence, expert perspectives, and supporting sources. Set the standards and write the briefs; you will not be writing every post yourself.
• Build Influ2’s authority across the web. Understand which sources shape answers to our buyers’ questions and strengthen Influ2’s presence there. Audit how Influ2 and our category are described, correct inaccuracies, and earn relevant coverage across publications, analysts, partners, review sites, comparison content, and communities. Prioritize sources based on evidence from each platform and topic.
• Own technical discoverability across AI and search. Manage crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, rendering, Core Web Vitals, and structured data. Verify that search and AI crawlers can access the content we want surfaced through robots.txt, infrastructure settings, and logs, while managing model-training permissions separately.
• Own the SEO fundamentals. Identify organic search opportunities around the topics and queries that matter to our buyers. Improve and track rankings, impressions, clicks, organic traffic, and conversions, and turn performance data into priorities for content and technical improvements.
• Measure what works and separate meaningful gains from noise. Track AI share of voice, brand accuracy, mentions, citations, referral traffic, organic search performance, conversions, and pipeline. Form hypotheses, establish baselines, and repeat measurements before calling a result. Treat emerging tactics such as llms.txt as experiments, be clear about attribution limits, and scale what produces evidence of impact.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, with at least the past year focused on AI search visibility. B2B SaaS experience is a plus.
• Demonstrable GEO results. Be ready to explain your baseline, the prompts and platforms you tracked, what you changed, what happened, and how you assessed the results and their limitations.
• Strong technical SEO skills, including structured data, crawl and rendering behavior, log file analysis, site migrations, and Core Web Vitals.
• Fluency with Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and at least one AI visibility platform such as AthenaHQ, Brand Radar, Profound, Peec AI, or Otterly. Looker and SQL are a real plus.
• Digital PR and outreach experience, with a track record of earning relevant mentions, reviews, and coverage.
• A strong understanding of positioning and category development. You can connect unfamiliar concepts to the language buyers already use.
