Senior Digital Product Strategy and Innovation Manager (AI)

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. We are seeking a Senior Digital Product Manager, to join the AI & Data Lab Product Management Team. This role will lead the identification, evaluation, and validation of high-potential AI and data-driven opportunities across Amgen, shaping strategic opportunities and providing evidence-based recommendations that inform enterprise investment and scaling decisions.

The Senior Digital Product Manager will establish product discovery and validation approaches that enable Amgen to determine where AI can create meaningful business and patient value, where opportunities warrant further investment, and where initiatives should be redirected, paused, or stopped.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy, AI product innovation, data, technology, and enterprise transformation, this role will provide strategic product leadership across ambiguous, cross-functional opportunities and influence senior business and technology stakeholders on product direction, prioritization, investment, and scale.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems, Technology, Product, Digital, AI, Data, Business Transformation, or related experience

OR

Master’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems, Technology, Product, Digital, AI, Data, Business Transformation, or related experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Information Systems, Technology, Product, Digital, AI, Data, Business Transformation, or related experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems, Technology, Product, Digital, AI, Data, Business Transformation, or related experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems, Technology, Product, Digital, AI, Data, Business Transformation, or related experience

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
