Who you are

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a federal customer in a fully remote capacity. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a multi-year effort to modernize large-scale, mission-critical systems that support essential government operations.

You will work alongside a high-performing, collaborative team focused on delivering smart, innovative technology solutions that solve real problems and drive meaningful outcomes. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to impactful, enterprise-level initiatives. You hold an active Secret Security Clearance and are ready to contribute from day one.

What you will do:

• Deliver projects and products using appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently.

• Work with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for any given product and translating this into user stories.

• Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team.

• Matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary team.

• Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production).

• Actively and openly share knowledge of best practices.

High-level objects include, but are not limited to the following:

• Migrate all current-system functionality from the mainframes and operate within a cloud-based environment (AWS GovCloud)

• Incorporate modern name search capabilities.

• Expand image handling to accept larger files and support additional file formats, such as PDF.

• Transition investigative search to Elasticsearch, providing a faster response and report creation time for law enforcement.

• Build new services to follow a microservices architecture and run within containers using the OpenShift platform

• Transition database functionality from IBM DB2 to the appropriate cloud data store.

• Update NIEM schemas and IEPDs to allow agencies to use updated functionality and speed up the dot-delimited message format retirement.

Success in this role is defined by your ability to drive consistent, high-quality delivery while strengthening team performance and stakeholder confidence.

• Program Impact: Contributions support measurable progress on system modernization goals and overall mission outcomes

• Team Effectiveness: Agile teams operate with clarity, accountability, and strong collaboration, with continuous improvement visible over time

• Risk & Issue Management: Risks, blockers, and dependencies are identified early and resolved quickly, minimizing impact to delivery

• Stakeholder Confidence: Product Owners, leadership, and customers have clear visibility into progress and trust in the team’s ability to execute

• Agile Maturity: Teams demonstrate adoption of Agile best practices, with improved backlog health, sprint quality, and retrospectives that lead to real change

• Cross-Team Coordination: Work across multiple teams is aligned, reducing bottlenecks and improving overall program efficiency

• Compliance Alignment: Delivery practices meet the expectations of a federal, security-conscious environment without slowing execution

What you bring:

We require:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of work experience.

• Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.

• Experience working in an agile environment

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting federal programs or working within GovCon environments

• Familiarity with large-scale system modernization or enterprise transformation efforts

• Experience working across multiple Agile teams or within scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, etc.)

• Background in software development, systems engineering, or technical program delivery

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management platforms

• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist, or similar)

• Experience operating in security or compliance-driven environments (CMMC, NIST, or similar frameworks)

Work Environment: Remote with occasional travel as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $120,000 - $123,000
