Description

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and results-driven Salesforce & AI Automation Lead to design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions that improve operational efficiency and support our company's continued growth.

In this role, you will lead the development of AI agents, voice agents, workflow automations, and system integrations while maintaining and optimizing our existing Salesforce platform. Our goal is to automate approximately 80% of our internal workflows, allowing our employees to focus more on client relationships and delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate combines advanced Salesforce expertise with hands-on AI automation experience, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently manage projects from concept through production. We are looking for someone who understands business challenges, communicates effectively, takes ownership of their work, and consistently delivers practical, measurable results.

This is a fully remote position, but we host several in-person company events throughout the year. The ideal candidate is willing and able to attend occasional in-person gatherings.

Responsibilities

AI Agent Development: Design, build, test, and deploy AI-powered agents and automations that streamline business processes across Sales, Claims Management, Injury Triage, and Client Services.
Voice AI Solutions: Develop and implement AI voice agents capable of handling inbound calls, injury intake, dispatch coordination, and other customer-facing workflows.
Workflow Automation: Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and develop intelligent automations that improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee productivity.
Salesforce Development & Administration: Maintain and optimize our Salesforce Enterprise environment, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and other integrated Salesforce products.
System Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms, including Microsoft 365, Aircall (VOIP), Calendly, and agency management systems such as Applied Epic.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with leadership and departmental stakeholders to understand existing workflows, identify business challenges, and develop effective technical solutions.
Project Management & Execution: Independently manage multiple technical initiatives from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization, with an emphasis on completing established quarterly priorities.
Communication & Documentation: Develop clear project plans, maintain accurate system documentation, communicate progress proactively, and provide regular updates to company leadership.
Data Management & Security: Maintain Salesforce data integrity, user permissions, security settings, and overall platform reliability while protecting sensitive business and client information.
User Support & Training: Troubleshoot technical issues, support end users, develop training resources, and promote successful adoption of new systems and automations.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of advancements in Salesforce, artificial intelligence, and automation technologies, and recommend practical improvements that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration, development, or platform management experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
Demonstrated experience successfully designing, developing, and deploying AI agents or advanced automation solutions in production business environments.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, Flow, custom objects, data models, security, and automation best practices.
Experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Data Cloud, or comparable AI agent development platforms.
Working proficiency with Apex, APIs, and third-party system integrations, including the ability to troubleshoot and modify existing solutions.
Proven ability to independently manage technical projects from requirements gathering through successful implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business challenges into practical technical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Exemplary time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision, proactively manage priorities, and consistently meet project commitments.
Strong collaboration skills, accountability, and a commitment to delivering reliable, measurable business results.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing AI-powered voice agents using Agentforce Voice, Aircall, Retell, Vapi, or similar platforms.
Experience implementing AI solutions that analyze sales calls, meeting transcripts, or employee interactions to provide actionable feedback.
Experience with middleware and workflow automation platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, n8n, or Zapier.
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service, Data Cloud, and Account Engagement.
Familiarity with commercial insurance, Workers' Compensation, claims management, or insurance agency management systems, particularly Applied Epic.
Salesforce certifications such as Agentforce Specialist, Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer.
Experience working directly with executive leadership in a small or midsize organization.
Demonstrated success implementing automation solutions that deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency, employee productivity, or service quality.

Compensation

$130,000 - $150,000 yearly
