David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a growing company that is seeking to onboard a Sales Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Sales Director, the Sales Manager will play a key role in building and developing the sales organisation, establishing effective sales processes and driving commercial growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Sales Director to build and develop the sales function
Help establish sales strategies, processes and ways of working aligned with the company's commercial objectives
Recruit, onboard, manage and develop sales team members as the organisation grows
Set clear objectives and performance expectations for the sales team
Coach and support team members to improve sales performance and develop their commercial skills
Monitor sales activity, pipeline development, conversion and revenue performance
Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up of opportunities
Support the team throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing
Identify opportunities for new business, account development, cross-selling and upselling
Establish effective CRM, reporting and forecasting practices
Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and results
REQUIREMENTS:
Native or near-native level of English
Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Sales Team Lead or similar sales leadership position
Demonstrated experience managing, coaching and developing sales professionals
Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing and account development
Proven commercial mindset and focus on revenue generation
Strong pipeline management, forecasting and sales performance analysis skills
Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Ability to establish structure and processes within a developing sales organisation
Strong leadership and people-management skills
