Description
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven US Sales Director to drive our commercial expansion across US markets. In this role, you will be responsible for defining territory strategies, building high-value relationships, and closing enterprise deals within the IPTV, Cable, Satellite, and OTT operator ecosystem. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal supervision and possesses deep cultural and regulatory intelligence across diverse European sub-regions.
Responsibilities
Revenue Generation: Own and consistently exceed quarterly and annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets within the US market.
Territory Strategy: Formulate and execute tailored business development strategies for key US sub-regions, taking into account local market dynamics and regulatory environments.
Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and scale a robust pipeline of tier-1 and tier-2 operators, managing complex, long-cycle consultative sales processes from prospecting to closing.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, technical decision-makers, and product teams within Telecoms, Pay-TV, and Streaming platforms.
Market Intelligence: Gather competitive market intelligence and product feedback to collaborate closely with internal Product, Pre-Sales, and Marketing teams.
On-the-Ground Presence: Travel regularly across US (up to 40-50%) for in-person customer meetings, industry expos, and regional summits (e.g., NAB).
Requirements
Domain Expertise: Proven track record selling complex B2B technology solutions into IPTV, Cable, Satellite, and OTT operators in US.
Sales Record: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding €1M+ annual quotas in enterprise software or video delivery platforms.
Regional Intelligence: Deep understanding of the US media landscape, local buyer behavior, and multi-country contract negotiations.
Soft Skills & Autonomy: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving mindset and comfort working autonomously in a remote setup.
Agility: Fast learner capable of translating complex, technical video technologies into business value for diverse audiences.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the US region.
