More Than a Role…
The German and Austrian markets are full of ambitious companies trapped by hiring borders. A Berlin startup has found the perfect developer in Barcelona but doesn't know how to employ him compliantly. A Vienna scale-up just closed its Series A and wants to hire across three countries by next quarter. As our SDR DACH, your mission is simple but powerful: Turn Germany and Austria into WorkMotion territory.
This role is built for a hunter: someone who gets their energy from the chase, picks up the phone instead of overthinking it and turns cold accounts into qualified demos. You're self-organized, you own your territory, your target lists and your daily outbound rhythm, and you're ambitious about your numbers: hitting target is the minimum, outperforming it is what drives you.
You won't be a solo operator. You'll be the right hand of our Account Executives and work closely with your Team Lead and our Marketing team, sharing what you hear in the market and sharpening messaging and targeting together, so every demo you book carries momentum from the very first call.
Where Responsibility Meets Real Opportunity…
- Outbound Engine: Phone first, every day. 100+ calls a day, backed by emails, LinkedIn messages, voice and video notes that feel personal, not automated.
- Demo Machine: Book 20+ qualified demos per month and hand them to your AEs with the context they need to win.
- Perfect Timing Hunter: Spot buying signals such as fresh funding, international expansion or remote hiring sprees, and use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot and AI to prioritize accounts and reach out first.
- Full Account Mapping: Multithread across HR, Finance, team leads and the C-suite so WorkMotion shows up wherever the decision gets made.
- Own Your Day: Plan your territory, cadences and priorities yourself, track your numbers and adjust without waiting to be told.
- Market Sparring Partner: Share objections, competitor intel and messaging insights with AEs and Marketing, and keep HubSpot clean so your pipeline is visible and reliable.
What It Takes to Make an Impact Here…
- Your Background: 1+ year as an SDR/BDR in B2B (ideally SaaS), with a proven outbound track record including cold calling and multi-channel prospecting.
- Outbound DNA: A cold call is a chance, not a threat. 100+ calls a day, a voice note in a LinkedIn DM or a WhatsApp follow-up excite you rather than scare you.
- Numbers-Driven High Performer: You know your metrics (activities, connect rate, meetings booked, quota attainment) and you can show where you outperformed.
- Self-Organized & Self-Motivated: You manage your time, energy and pipeline in a fully remote team and own your path to success.
- AI-Savvy & Coachable: AI makes you faster and sharper every day, and you put feedback into action the same day.
- German Native: Native-level German and business-fluent English.
Bonus Points If You Bring…
- Experience with HR tech, payroll, EOR or other compliance-heavy solutions
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Creativity in getting your foot in the door: find a smart way to reach the hiring managers directly, and show them why you're the right person for this role
