About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive outbound prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline growth.

This is a hands-on sales role for someone who is comfortable with cold calling, outbound email, LinkedIn prospecting, and multi-touch outreach.

You’ll identify and engage prospective customers, qualify opportunities, and consistently book meetings for the sales team.

If you have experience in B2B sales, SDR/BDR workflows, appointment setting, or outbound lead generation, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Own

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

• Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and similar tools
• Research accounts and decision-makers before outreach
• Execute outbound prospecting through:
• Cold calls
• Email
• LinkedIn
• Personalize messaging based on prospect needs and company context
• Generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
• Maintain consistent prospecting activity across assigned accounts

Cold Calling & Appointment Setting

• Make 30–40+ cold calls per day
• Complete 60–100 outbound touchpoints per day
• Engage decision-makers and quickly communicate value
• Handle common objections confidently and professionally
• Qualify prospect interest and fit
• Book qualified meetings for Account Executives
• Follow structured outreach cadences and follow-up sequences

CRM & Pipeline Management

• Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in platforms such as:
• HubSpot
• Salesforce
• Zoho CRM
• Track conversations, follow-ups, lead stages, and meeting outcomes
• Keep pipeline data clean and up to date
• Ensure every meaningful interaction is properly documented
• Maintain clear visibility into prospecting activity and results

Outreach Campaign Optimization

• A/B test email messaging, subject lines, outreach copy, and sequences
• Monitor:
• Reply rates
• Meeting-booking rates
• Call conversion rates
• Overall outreach performance
• Identify messaging and targeting improvements
• Adjust campaigns based on performance data
• Share insights with sales leadership to improve outbound results

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• 1–3+ years of experience in SDR, BDR, outbound sales, appointment setting, or lead generation
• Hands-on experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting
• Experience executing multi-touch outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn
• Familiarity with prospecting and sales engagement tools such as:
• Apollo
• Outreach.io
• Salesloft
• LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• ZoomInfo
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to confidently handle objections and prospect conversations
• Strong organization and follow-up discipline
• Comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• B2B SaaS or professional services sales experience
• Experience prospecting into SMB and mid-market companies
• Familiarity with SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies
• Experience working against activity and meeting quotas
• Experience building or optimizing outbound sequences
• Familiarity with AI-assisted sales and prospecting tools

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Your day may start by reviewing target accounts and researching new prospects. You’ll then work through outbound call blocks, send personalized emails, engage prospects on LinkedIn, and follow up with previous conversations.

Throughout the day, you’ll book qualified meetings, update CRM records, review outreach performance, and collaborate with the sales team on pipeline priorities.

In short: you create new sales opportunities by consistently identifying, engaging, and qualifying the right prospects.
