As we continue to expand our cloud and enterprise business globally, we are looking for a Regional Sales Engineer to own the technical side of the customer relationship. You will be responsible for building and maintaining technical relationships with current customers and prospects. You will work with your sales partner to provide presales technical support to AlgoSec strategic enterprise customers and prospects to drive sales of AlgoSec products and services.

 What You’ll Do

Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor; the technical presales face of AlgoSec for the customer proactively working on opportunities within your region
Advise sales teams and partners on best architecture for customer deployments.
Together with your presales colleagues collect and disseminate customer requirements for the Product Management team. Serve as “Voice of Germany” in Product Management group
Set the technical direction for opportunity solutions and ensure sales team activities are coordinated and focused
Work closely with the Professional Services team to actively support closed-won opportunity handover to ensure the best possible implementation for our customers
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to solution partners and clients regarding the implementation and maintenance of AlgoSec solutions
Be an evangelist to both internal and external stakeholders about continuous integration and practices for Security Policy Management
Collaborate with your presales peers across Europe and the globe helping AlgoSec provide A-Class presales to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Knowledge regarding the implications to risk, governance, audit and controls
Team player, pleasant to work with, high level of integrity
5+ years of presales experience in Enterprise selling
Excellent oral and written skills in English
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Proven successful track record in winning competitive POC’s
Solid understanding of the technology security market space firewalls, IDS/IPS, SDN, Compliance and Policy Orchestration
In depth working knowledge of general firewall and networking skills, such as TCP/IP, VRF, AWS VPC, routing and firewall policies, LDAP and authentication services
Experience with cloud solutions from AWS, Azure, and GCP
Competent in both Windows and Linux systems technology and operations
Ability to work cross-functionally to create complex integrated solutions
Excellent prioritization and qualification skills to ensure pipeline integrity and predictability
Strong profeshional presence as this role will have extensive executive visibility both internally and externally
Experience working with application builds, Java and REST APIs
Expert knowledge of core infrastructure, virtualization and systems, cloud solutions (public, private, hybrid), network and security, LAN & WAN
Able to not just technically position the AlgoSec proposition but sell the vision and journey to customers
Willing to travel up to 50% of your working time to customer sites as required to qualify and present proposals
