Project Analyst/Assistant

The Project Support role performs complex technical and project support tasks supporting multiple projects, ensuring adherence to client obligations as well as BC’s policies and procedures. This role applies its skills to a broad range of tasks with limited supervision and has the latitude for independent judgement within defined tasks. Regular completion of assignments with little to no assistance is expected and a limited ability to make decisions within a narrow scope of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract support as the point of contact for contracts, facilitate documentation of negotiations, and adherence to contract process requirements.
• Support cost and rate development to ensure project financial viability.
• Undertake all aspects of project maintenance, ensure smooth operation of all sections.
• Maintain responsibility for invoicing and progress reporting and communicate financial progress to stakeholders.
• Provide subcontract and purchase order support, liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Execute coding and processing of subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Provide billing collections assistance as required.
• Aid project progress monitoring and reporting, continually assess the ongoing success of the project.
• Provide closeout support at the conclusion of projects, including final accounts and contractual matters.
• Maintain and manage contractual and financial project documentation.
• Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.

Mentorship

• May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to perform complex technical/administrative tasks.
• Proficient in cost and rate development and contract support.
• Adept at handling subcontract and purchase order support.
• Strong capabilities in project progress monitoring and reporting.

Experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of Project Support or related experience.

Education

• A degree in Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience is required.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $64,000 - $87,000

Location B: $71,000 - $96,000

Location C: $77,000 - $105,000
