Product Marketing Manager

As a Product Marketing Manager at MRI Software, you will be a strategic leader on the team responsible for telling the world (and company) the story of our products. As chief advocate for one of MRI's global product families, you'll own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for established solutions used by market leaders, partnering with our Global Delivery Centre to bring that strategy to life in market-ready content and assets. You'll be an expert in our market and our buyers, translating their needs into messaging and enablement that lands with sales teams, buyers, and analysts and influencers alike.

You Will:

• Product positioning and messaging: own and maintain differentiated positioning and messaging for your product family. Understand and document key business and technical benefits for buyers, and direct the Global Delivery Centre in translating that positioning into supporting content.
• Champion product adoption: work cross-functionally with Product teams and Solution Leaders, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to ensure we're effectively positioning, pitching, and closing deals that include your solutions.
• Sales Enablement: communicate the value proposition of the products in your segment to GTM teams and set the strategic direction for sales tools that support the selling process of your products, briefing and directing the Global Delivery Centre on externally facing content such as presentations, brochures and data sheets, as well as internally facing content such as competitor cheat sheets and other training materials.
• Product launches: serve as the Marketing lead for all new product launches, upgrades and releases in your segment. Own the Marketing launch strategy with relevant team members, and direct the Global Delivery Centre on the launch activities required to bring it to market.
• Demand generation & content creation: set the strategic direction for demand generation and campaign planning for your segment, briefing the Global Delivery Centre on execution. Advise on thought leadership content to support campaigns, including white papers, eBooks, blogs, webinars and more.
• Market intelligence: develop and maintain a detailed understanding of industry trends, competitor capabilities and customer needs in your market segment. Be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria, and be the expert on your competition. Share relevant information with Product Management, Sales, analysts and influencers, and other Marketing team members.
• Develop internal and external product enablement: lead internal training on new products and features, client-facing webinars and meetings, and breakout sessions at our annual user conference, Ascend, directing the Global Delivery Centre on supporting content and running point on cross-functional meetings and collaboration to support all efforts.
• Support thought leadership: leverage your research and knowledge to shape compelling assets, in partnership with the Global Delivery Centre, that support our vision in the market.

You Have:

• BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 4+ years of marketing experience, including a track record in Product Marketing, Content, or Digital Marketing
• Experience in a SaaS or enterprise technology company environment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent people and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with Marketing team members, direct the work of a Global Delivery Centre, and support cross-functional teams in a matrix management arrangement
• Some travel may be required to successfully fill this role
